i love the way how he unravels the suitcase, most prestigous first (ring belt) followed by his WBC belts then WBO belts and then...............oh the IBO, lol....he kept on hugging the ring belt close to him.....proper craftsmanship who doesnt want one
@hollywars27 yeah it all comes to the big bucks! i hope a Dehydrated Margarito can still beat him so he will fight Cotto for the WBA and WBC 154 lb not 150 !!!
I am 19 yrs old and thinking about getting in the ring. I have been training myself hard and very hard jumping rope for 1 hour straight every day, running 3 miles a day and lifting weights and of course sparring and hitting the bags for 7 months now and eating only healthy things and only drinking water, lots of water, also while working a full time job and putting myself through college. That depresses me that they say starting at 20 is late..........
@Vinnygil thats not late at all guys like nate cambell, tony thompson. bernard hopkins, dwight muhammad qawi, larry holmes started late I started when i was 19 and 3 months later i won the colorado golden gloves my trainer ron lyle started boxing late he turned pro at 30 and he fought muhammad ali and george foreman as long as you work hard age dont mean shit
@Vinnygil Rocky Marciano started Boxing at 22 or 23 you can do it! The question is do u really want to. Lou Duva was asked who was the best conditioned fighter he ever? Rocky was 1#. U gotta be a freak when it comes to fitness but anyone can do it but who really wants to?
30-day weigh-in: Sergio Martinez 176, Paul Williams 162...SERGIO IS IN TROUBLE, not good to be almost 20lbs heavier than the 157 contract weight...NOT GOOD!
Very Impressive that you can start boxing at 20 years old, having to fight in the lower weight divisions which tends to have the higher caliber fighters, and develop to be that skilled and go on to be "The World Champion" in your division(s).
Great Attitude. Great Athlete.. Great Work Ethic = Great Champion.
Sergio is one of the good guys in boxing. Dude is awesome I hope he beats Paul Williams. I would love to see Sergio go back down to his natural weight of 154 and fight some of the stars like Vanes, James Kirkland, Angulo, Margarito win or lose against Pacquiao, etc.
@parracatau there are many like Sergio, me included haha, seriously, people ask where am I from because I am humble and simple.there are lot of people like Sergio in Argentina, especially in the countryside. All the jerks are in Buenos Aires. The rest of the country is not different than the rest of latin america. Colorful, good people, good friends, hard working, lot of poverty unfortunately.
I love Sergio, What a man. My favourite world chmpion and he derserves those belts. Just wow, what a great man.
