fucking worms, my puppy i adopted has adults, she is going for her audlticide in 6 months, she is currently on doxycycline to prevent infection from bacteria and it is also used to sterile the adult worms. puppy is also on preventative 2 times a month for 4 month to kill microfilarias.
This is the mildest case of heartworms I have seen,whichever animal has this infection is lucky it was caught so quick.But then again,this could be a video of cat's blood since they usually only develop a few.Yes,cats can get heart-worms too! But even a couple in a cat can kill them where it takes hundreds in dogs.left untreated,if this is a dog you will see hundreds soon!
