I did finally see The Spirit! I admired Frank Miller trying something new, but it was a failed experiment on all counts in my opinion... Have you seen it? Thoughts?

I saw it in theaters back in december, and i agree with you. Major failure. The trailer made it seem like a serious movie, but then it was just a comedy with crappy jokes! The cast was perfect, but the plot and writing sucked.

To make your segments even more interesting, you should compare the success of these current films to past record breakers once fixed for inflation.

That would give your viewers a better understanding of how avid and supportive moviegoers today are compared to those of past hits.

see, i loved Benjamin Button. It felt just like a Forst Gump as well. Thing is, it's just constantly depressing. Not all movies are meant to make you feel joyful and glea. They tell a story and this one happened to stay true to that. The idea of it is genious and it really hit me. Although, at times it did feel like Forest Gump, except with different characters.

Keep this up I love the Movie Math, Beyond the trailer and Revyoushow. I actually with I walked out of that theater and got interviewed. Dont trust what people said about Disaster Movie though!

You're cute and you give credible reviews. I thought Ben Button might be depressing. Was going to see the Spirit until I heard about all of the negative reviews it is getting. Defiance only comes out in limited release in two theaters, and I don't see NECESSARY EVIL on any release schedules - sorry! I will try to pick up Defiance when it goes wide January 16th.

Valkyrie was terrible. Tom cruise was 1 dimensional. They had no German accent. I thought he was American at first. And how could it be suspenseful? We knew what was going to happen b4 we even watched it. The movie was very true to what really happened but Benjamin Button was way better.

It doesn't really matter that Marley & Me made the most money on Christmas ever, because tickets now cost more than ever. It may matter to the self-congratulating heads at studios, but how many tickets it sold is a bigger sign of success than gross.
