  • there are way better survival shows out there. but i like this guys style

  • what i like about this guy is that he doesn't complain about what he eats. He always makes it looks so good. Every episode i watch bear i wanna puke. He also moans and complains about eating anything other than a fish. I'm telling you, after watching les i get a hankering for some grubs...

  • he is just asking for some sort of parasite by walking in there barefoot. think hookworms and the like.

  • Thanx for uploading.

  • haaaaha blair with spoof, nice

  • 7:10 Lol i was watching les and on the left of the video you see that spanish moss moving , i thought that was a person

  • he should show how to gut them

  • Wow he is faking by using the radio

  • @100Evilchicken He uses a satellite phone to try and check in with his crew periodically. he is not "faking". it is not like they want him to die, it is a survival show. Its only a precation. He is still completely alone waiting. he often does not use this phone and very often he cannot even get a signal.

  • is it just me or is that a radio on his right side at 2:33

  • @marcus1993666 if you watch the one were he is lost at sea he tells you what it is used for

  • @marcus1993666

LOL it is. survivorman says, "hey dudes. I'm good so far. I caught a turtle. Im gonna eat its legs..peace"

  • why couldnt he use the metal peanut can to boil water?

  • cheers for the upload great show

  • Iv seen the blare witch project I telling you it's one bizzare scary movie

  • i go to mars when earth is boring.

  • i lol'd so hard at the blair witch parody

  • i think i would made some simple crayfish traps with some that from that frog and not sure i bait trap in gator country so close where i am. as i am sure turtles not only thing that could smell it

  • @ 2:34 is that a walkie-talkie?

  • @bmichaels It's his wireless microphone receiver

  • Ray mears is number one,

then Les .......Bear grylls dosnt even deserve to be anywhere near this list.

  • @max465t agreed 100% !! I like Mears for polished and informative programming (the guy is like an outdoor encyclopedia) and Stroud for real life survival accuracy. Grylls is a distant also-ran and those dual-survival guys, while possessing some ability no-doubt, are just part of a gimmicky reality-tv show

  • Ray mears is number one,

then Les .......Bear grylls dosnt even deserve to be anywhere ear this list.

  • lol blaire witch?

  • 8:46 LMAO

  • lol hes funny tough everytime he tries to fish but usually fails poor les well he gotz some frog lol

  • @supp96 haha yeah ! except that ONE episode like in the arctic.. where some how.. he caught like 6 fish each one bigger than the next.. its like he was playing catch up from all these episodes lol.. that was a good one :)

  • @skateurself o yea i remember that one he was all exited and everything XD

  • Haha, I loved the Blair Witch reference at the end!

  • rattlesnake tastes just like chicken too. and you have no fucking clue how hard it is to trap a catfish

  • The thing to keep in mind is to not look at him as an uber-guru mountain man, but more like an average outdoor enthusiast. Most of his early career he worked in the music and film industry Only later did he become a guide for a canoe expedition company and started taking wilderness survival courses. What he shows may not be the best, easiest, or most effective way to survive, but what he shows will help you survive if you needed to for a couple of weeks.

Plus it's still fun to watch.

  • @Cushak THANKYOU. ;P This is what I tell people- what Stroud shows is much closer to what is likely to actually happen in a *real* survival situation. People seem to think that because he suffers a bit and isn't pulling ample meals out of the air on every trip he takes that he isn't skilled. But look at the vast majority of real survival stories: they tend to deal with people staving off death and sickness to a just a sufficient degree to live until rescued- which is exactly what Stroud shows.

  • @Cushak maybe not weeks, just because of the water situation, only showed 1 watervine and that was tapped. I imagine there were more, but weeks worth? But I totally get what your saying.

  • @Cushak he may not know everything but he knoes enough to survive in places like swamps and the arctic Id like to see yu do what he does for even 3days let alone a week

  • you could not do half of what he does so stfu

    Blair witch parody ftw

  • Traditional trapping methods for a local area always seem to work the best when you're forced to improvise. Besides, 2:15 of part 4 disagrees with you; watch the whole show.

  • @riseofdixieland13 id LOVE to see you try it...here's the thing, les wants to catch some catfish, do you know anything about catfishes?? dont think so, catfishes live deep on the swamp floor near tree stumps, and are very hard to trap, it's actually alot easier to catch it physically rather than trapping it...but if there is an abundance of catfish in the area where Les was, then trapping one wouldn't be so hard, so show some empathy to the guys position and limitation, then say something.

  • @riseofdixieland13 yea hes so bad at trapping he has his own show good job trolling on something you can't win.
