A huge difference: catholics are meat eaters and drink alcohol, smoke tobacco and have a weak philosophical knowledge of God. Krishna family are lacto-vegetarians, take no drugs, alcohol and have the strongest philosophy available today.
im a devotee from a catholic family and honestly im glade they are catholic compared to the other denominations of christianety, and i wouldnt say they have a weak phylosophical knowlege about god considering its very similar to eastern tradtions in their rituals and practices, and the alcohol you referred too in such a demening matter is very similar to prasade because the preist offers it to christ and through transubstantiation it becomes the body and blood of christ,
Yes, but God does not ask for alcohol, meat or other substances. We cannot make up our own ways of worshiping, that's discouraged in the Vedas. God will allow transubstantiation only if you offer what He likes, not what we like. Otherwise, one can offer dead human bodies and consider it prasad. No? Well why not? God didn't ask neither for alcohol nor dead bodies, so concocting one of them, we may as well concoct anything we want. But this is not approved in the Vedas, if you chose to follow them.
Why would God want us to drink alcohol and eat meat if that harms our bodies and our minds?
It is only our lusty desire to enjoy such substances that we must assume God likes it too. Christianity clearly wants to bring God down to the man-level, that's why they offer wine and imagine it is blood, the offer bread imagining they eat the body of Christ, that's why their most beloved guru is crucified on the cross and the hold that image of him very dearly...it is all about the body, not soul.
well as ou sadi we must offer what god likes, and because christians see christ as a manifestation of god and christ offered wine to the deciples at the last supper and said "this is my blood' and offered the host to the deciples and sai "this is my body" they do believe that thye are offering what god likes because that is what christ offered-just like us based on christs pastimes and we do offer bodys when they are cremated and sent down the gangies, thats how the agori tribes exsist
Well that is exactly what I was pointing out: the differences between Christianity and the Vedas. Some will say it is similar, but there are some quite important differences, not so much in the rituals, which aren't the primary goal, but the attitude and understanding behind them. The transformation of consciousness is the vital to the Vedas. Without it, there is no God consciousness. That's why we don't spill blood and kill animal bodies as it is completely unnecessary and God doesn't want it.
"in this age of kali we shouldnt critisize any path to go because it is so rare to come by at all, to call an entire fith phylosophicaly ignorant or devoid is a very heavy"
you dont consider calling an entire faith phylosophicaly devoid as critical? :)
i have no sentiment twords the bible however i think that catholics are te best representitives of christ and his teachings wheather they are accurate or not , they are the least jugementle and have the least reservtions in reards to other lifestyles or relgions
the fanatic born agains may nto drink however they make horrible alligations agenst other faiths includeing our own
If I think something is philosophically incorrect, that is not criticizm. If someone gets offended by that, it means they are critical of themselves and cannot hear anything that's opposing their beliefs. I am always ready to hear good arguments and logic. But often Christians do not offer any arguments besides the authority of Bible. Vedas reject such argumentation and does not consider it a philosophy, but rather a doctrine, a blind faith. You prove me otherwise and I will change my mind.
If one firmly believes in the teaching of the Bible, then such person should be able to argue any kind of question or point. If we engage our hurt and emotions into the debate, it is no longer a philosophy, but childish fighting. Personally, I don't engage myself in such emotionally saturated debates, which Christians often have to offer. If you're different, I am happy for you, and I'm ready to debate. There are many questions Christians have yet to answer. Thanks.
The VEDAS are the absolute truth, The fruits in which they show through humans that study them, are a prime example of how the Earth race should be. It's hard to convience ignorant minds of this! Keep up your enlightened comments. Hare KRSNA.
Christianity, Islam, Buddhism in my humble opinion are twisted, watered down "truth" of Vedas.
Mahabharata is oldest of all therefore supersedes all known scripture. Ancient Sanskrit texts are scientifically and spiritually superior.
Sanskirt mantra not only have truth, but also POWER. One can manifest anything with perfection of sound vibration from good to ill. From curing high blood preassure to creating nuclear explosions. Vedic Mantras are superior esoteric knowledge.
@NassimHarameinVedas then wouldnt you agree, as it states in the Rig Veda (historicly the oldest vedic scriptures), the Divine can be worshiped through any manifestion, thus trying to decern the validity of other religons is fruitless because the ultimate goal is love of god
It's symbology of cannabalizim. Humans are not Carnivores, FACT!!. Yua'shua(Jesus) was a veggie, the Romans removed this truth in 325ce House of NICREA. Keep sucking on them bones you killer. Remember this part? " THY SHALL NOT KILL"

ive been a devotee for about five years now actualy, before that i was a buddhist never been christian. "our Krsna" seriousely, Krsna is the cosmic manfiestation hes everyones and we are his all at the same time. transubstaniation of the wine & host is similar to offering food to Krsna, once offered it becoems Krsna, and once trasformed the Host and Wine become Christ. thats very simple if you ask me. i think by avoiding these ovbiouse things like that we give fuel to those who call us a cult
