  • love your vids man!

  • this is not good but if u suck penis then its cool

  • what song is the acapella from???

  • Noob chopping sorry, not useful at all,go watch pro's stutter

  • how do you find the tools menu, like with the scissors/cut tool and stuff?

  • @highlifetv2 hit the "Esc" key.

  • he seems to not know a fast way to do this I will show a demo of how to do this but using Nuendo!

  • man, no need for all that chopping around..just select parts of the audio track on the timeline and click on "repeat section" that will double that selection so you do it wherever and as much as you like and then rearrange de bits of track..thats how i do it its so quick, this method you're showing is so LONG!

  • Wolf... wolf... wolf... wolf... I feel you

  • How did you with that voice?

  • Don't want to rain on your parade here but This is soon to be a dead, already Zero support DAW from Apple. They don't care for it anymore.. They just care for iPhones, iPads, Tv and Macs..

When Logic was sold to Apple and turned into a Garageband like program I knew it was a matter of little time..

  • ahh Vengance vocal sample..

  • i can't find the cross fade tool in my logic 9.1.6...any help? i found the fade tool but it won't allow me to play with the instrument to make it level out than raise in volume slowly. is fade on used on vocals and automation only for instruments?

  • @24Snapz Are you tying to do this on a MIDI region? If so, you can't do crossfades on MIDI regions, only audio regions, you will have to automate the volume changes with automation..

  • @imamusicmogul im assuming the midi region can't say i know the difference between the two as of right now..to automate the volume changes with automation would only be for instrument recorded tracks?

  • @24Snapz thats right, go to the individual tracks and automate the volume change... But if it is an audio region (recorded live instrument) then do the cross fade tool... Is it not showing up in the list??

  • @24Snapz its not coming up i think they changed it to fade in the update. I'm looking for a vocal sample to try it the way your video did and see if i can ge the same results

  • @24Snapz i found it now thank you for all your help..you have an email for any further minor questions?

  • great thnx

  • howmuch is logic?

  • @toomuchfetty Right now you can get it in the Mac App store for $199... This is the best price it ever was...

  • @imamusicmogul howlong do you think its going to stay that price for?

  • @toomuchfetty From now on, that would be the price of Logic Pro 9 (unless they decide to cut it.. It shouldn't go any higher)... When Logic Pro X comes out, maybe the price will change, but I would guess that the price will stay the same (maybe lower)!!If you are waiting to get Logic Pro and don't want to jump in yet, You should be ok to wait as price shouldn't change..

  • I think logic and FL are the sleekest and sexiest softwares :) but my FL is really good, i would post my music but im way to lazy...

  • Suggestion: you can also make a vocal sample(or midi note) if that makes sense if you want it to be on a 16th not or whatever.. I'm a producer and that is how I've done it. a lot easier to work with

  • I Think The Stutter Should Have Been Shorter, I Do This Vocal Effect A lot And Found That It Sounds Better Chopped in 8ths For One Bar Then Add The Speed Up Effect. :)

  • i was wondering if this is also called programming? can i do this on a master track for my metalcore music? cuz that's what i want to do

  • @ETSJoshVoxx You can do whatever you like!!! That is the beauty be as creative as you want to be!!

  • @imamusicmogul i really appreciate this tutorial man and apologize in advance for the millions of questions i may ask you about this, i have your video bookmarked to go to as a reference for this, thanks a ton man!

  • Very nice tutorial!

  • Do you have the basic tutorial? I am new to logic!!

  • Is this better than Fl Studio?

  • @Nitemare54231 It is completely up to the user/producer.. For me it is better...

  • Logic pro or Reason or FL, witch one should i get?

  • @DjSuperK Logic is really good and versatile... If you get Reason, you should thing about getting Record... It is the same people who created Reason but they use added a record audio function into it... What type of music are you going to record??

  • @imamusicmogul Well used Reason, but I feel like the sound quality is poor. (Example) i fee like the sounds sound very electronic like not acustical. So, I want to invest in something better but not to expansive. Is Logic pro worth $900.00 dollars? Oh, and I will be recording vocals, live instruments, midi, hip-hop, Latin, dance, rock, cumbia, norteño, dub step all kinds of music. Thanks!

  • AS much as I've seen, logic is the best.. Too bad I don't have freaking mac :@

Ableton is weird, I want logic!

  • Those lyrics.....craaazyyy.

but thank you. this helped a lot! :)

  • I think a more effective way to achieve this effect is the suppatrigga plugin, but this can be effective, too

  • Nice video man, very helpful :3

  • Okay so this may be a very dumb comment, but i am new to logic and do not know how to put samples of songs or vocals (that aren't my own voice) in a project. Can you help me or point me to a tutorial you have?

    Thanks!!!!

  • I am about to get into music recording. I've been a musician for 6 years and I'm dying to begin recording my own albums. Logic is currently my first choice (I'm getting a macbook pro). SOMEONE SELL ME ON THIS PROGRAM. The problem is every major recording software company gets 5/5 stars on any review sight because the fact is they are all pretty good. What makes Logic better/worse? I need a veteran studio guy to sell me on this.

  • how i applied the stutter effect to a guitar: /watch?v=NwKZKgKzJqY&feature=channel_video_title

  • Nice Tutorial man I actually L0ve you...

  • I had Fruity Loops for some time. I got Logic recently its soo complicated! but as I learned Fruity Loops I'll learn this

  • @MrGooseEnt

Amen to that man... I've had logic for 1 month now and used fl for the past year but my beats on logic sound so PROFESSIONAL just wish i discovered Mac sooner

  • @ArGyProductions Don't you find it harder to find Vst's/instruments for Logic? Or am I the lost one.

  • Can u make some beats here, I'm not wanting to hear that to export or something by external means, i mean, composition of original beats by just using this software alone, just like magix music maker pro 17.

  • @htennekipanac1993 that is what logic was designed for!!! For making music of all genres....

  • @imamusicmogul wow! is this easy to use? wow thanks for the information, Can we make some brutal beats on this software? :)

like the Shredder by Peter Kurten? If you still didn't know it, you can search it on google, that's what i'm talkin about, I'll gonna w8 for your reply, thanks! :)

  • @htennekipanac1993 You can make any music you wish!!! That is what is so great about Logic Pro!!!

  • this vocal effects is from vengeance

  • whats better native instruments or logic pro ( for electro synth pop

  • LOGIC IS THE SHITTT :)

  • @SNOOPDAONEANDONLY I agree!!!

  • very very good tutorial. thank you man!

  • this is such a long winded way of doing something pretty easy mate!

  • yiiir pro logic is the best porgram ever..

  • where did you get that vocal sample?

  • use the marquee tool and the loop function, would be miles quicker than cutting with scissors etc

  • What I never understood about Logic, what is a processor and what is it used for? Much would be appreciated if you could respond back to my comment. Thank you.

  • is logic better then cubase? or fl studio?

    is it?

  • @NzNexus2 Cubase is a very good program as well, never used it but I really like Logic... FL Studio is PC only as well. Logic is Mac only...

  • @NzNexus2 Logic is good, so is Cubase and FL, you know, it doesn't really matter 'what' you're using to create your audio, it's the users choice, I like Cubase and Reason, I work with both of them, actually I work with FL, Live and Logic aswell hehe.. oh yeah I also have a Roland W30 :p but yeah, what I'm trying to tell you is that it doesn't really matter what program you're using, just what you find comfortable.

  • Use Ableton, problem solved

  • Is there a quicker and more efficient way to do this? WHat is you want it to stutter like if your rolling your tongue? there had to be a better way than this surely

  • logic is such a win. converted me from ableton !

  • @guitarsalert you will love logic more and more when you keep on using it..

  • yawn... sorry bro seemed to drag on

  • thanks dude this was very helpful!

  • How would you create a build up?

  • Alternate (and I think way, way easier method): Right-click on the region and choose "Convert to new sampler track." It will automatically chop up the region and create a playable ESX24 instrument. Then you can just bang it out on the keyboard with MIDI notes instead of having to mouse regions around all day... it also allows you to come up with new phrasings quickly.

  • how do you get those vocal clips from other songs? I really wanna use vocals from other songs in my music! Do i have to get permission or anything? Do you use a website?

  • TBH just hit the "L" key on the keyboard to loop regions

  • awesome man, i never knew there was a crossfade tool haha! thanks great video :)

  • In spanish please or with subtitles!...thanks anyways.

  • usually you'd want to stutter an unmixed track... then add effects...

  • wow ... soothing voice you almost just put me to bed.

  • hey :)

idk how to copy and paste in my new iMac in ' logic '

but i might 've learnt it now but another thing

how do u get the menu of the mouse?

like in windows we make a ' right click ' but in mac it wont work :/

  • @rockboy95bahjat you have to "activate" the right click on your mouse... Go to the top left corner... Click on the apple then System Preferences then "Mouse" and then you can define all the settings for your mouse... Let me know if that answers your question!!!!

  • @rockboy95bahjat or you could just hit command + c to copy and command + v to paste

  • dude thanks so much for this vid. all the others on youtube suck compared to your guides. keep up the good work my man.

  • What hotkey combo are you using to just click a piece of the vocal and copy it that way? I'm constantly having to rightclick>copy>select 2nd track>place marker>paste?repeat

    Thanks for the video! :-)

  • @jdmCrush2 oh.. I am just using apple (command) + c to copy and apple (command) + v to paste... Let me know if that answers your questions...

  • @jdmCrush2 just select the ones you want. And drag while holding down option

  • Hi there! First off thanks for the video... Secondly, I have a question. Say I had that vocal clip you just used in the tutorial, and I decided to include it in my mix... But my mix is at a different tempo. How would I make it so that the vocal clip would match the tempo in my project? Is there a video that you have made regarding this? (I haven't checked yet, i just subscribed ;) Any help would be truly appreciated. Thanks!

  • plz plz a question i have a mixer yamaha a mic rode nt-1000 and usb card sound m-audio,,,, wher should i plug the mic to the card sound or to the mixer,,,,,, but iv never seen a home studion on youtube where the mixer is plugged to a card sound then to the laptop???? how come or mixer enough no need to buy the sound card ????

  • thanks brother. i will try it up. peace

  • can you seperate the vocals from the beats? if thats possible?

  • hi there, thanks for the video.it is a pro log.

i have a question regarding mic set up in logic. I have a condenser mic connected to preamp and to the audio interface. just bought logic but it doesnt find my mic. can you help.appreciate it bro

  • @POELLMEL1 does it recognize you interface?? You might have to change the audio settings in Logic to use the input/outputs of the interface... Also, make sure you have phantom turned on your interface.. Condenser mics usually require phantom power....

  • silly question but how do you curve the volume automation on the crossfade tool? do you hold down a button as you click on it?

  • do you have any good presets

  • this is a dumb question, but i`m new in to Logic pro.

how do i create new audio file wit mic, so i can make my own vocals?

    thnx

  • @VONZIPPERCRW Don't worry... That is not a stupid question... I actually had a couple of people asking me how to do that... It might get a little confusing to write... I think I am going to put together a video of this really soon to answer all the people that asked about it.. Lookout for it!!

  • @imamusicmogul we are still waiting for the video,,,i couldn't find it,,, ???

  • @VONZIPPERCRW there's a plus symbol above the track(s) interface hit that and select audio track not software instrument and your in there the arm the track for recording and bammmm!!!

  • where did u get that sample? thats soo sick!!

  • send me that audio file please!!!

  • Really cool. Thanks.

  • Very helpful video. Much Appreciated. How did you get the vocals to sound very electric? Get back to me! I am looking to make my vocals sound similar. Thanks again for the video.

  • where did you get this acapela

  • where do you find acapellas like that?

  • i still think the stutter effect or gate effect some call it is better on protools..or maybe your method isnt the kind of sound im looking for? good tutorial anyway

  • @ATLDRUELZ It's just the way he did it, it's the same in logic as it is in pro tools

  • whats better than logic pro?

  • @YaBoyKhalilTv id say protools 8 or adobe audition

  • @ATLDRUELZ Did you really just say that? Nothing is better than logic, especially not adobe audition. Pro Tools 8 took everything from logic and renamed it, I mean everything. Pro tools 8 doesn't even have latency compensation, unless you get HD for about $10,000. Then logic pro with an apogee system is still better than Pro Tools. People say pro tools is better because it was the first daw, so they know the name, like chevy vs saturn

  • @CDZONE6 oh ok? i mean when i checked protools reviews and logic reviews from people who have both they recommended protools over logic?. i dont know which to get but they look like they're pretty much the same quality

  • @ATLDRUELZ Never believe people when they say they have both, that's usually what people say when they want you to believe what them. Yes, they are the same quality, no program sounds better than the other, programs don't have a sound to them. It's all about the features, what it can do, how well it can do, and how easy it is to do it. People who do everything, produce, compose, write, record, mix, usually prefer logic. Pro tools is mostly for mixing, and u are stuck with their badinterfaces.

  • @CDZONE6 yeah logic tutorials just look easier..you run logic?. you dont need an interface to run logic as you do for protools right?

  • @ATLDRUELZ Logic was made with the user in mind, that's why it's so much easier to do the same things. I use logic personally, while someone I work with uses pro tools. I use it when I'm at his studio, but it's not very user friendly, or efficient. Plus pro tools plugins cost way too much. Logic doesn't need an interface, and you can choose which one if you want to use one. Pro tools won't even open without their interface, and they aren't even that good.

  • @CDZONE6 thanks man i think ima get logic instead now.

  • whats better than logic pro?

  • dude i love your videos, but i hate your intro song/sound

  • Comment removed

  • Nice video thanks. what i find realy easy for this effects is to create a sampler instrument. Whit that vocal as sample. So you only have to play some midi notes.

  • where are the vocals from....i like them alot...there hilarious

  • cant you do this in flex mode also?

  • Yay 720p!

How do you quantize automation in Logic? That's bugged me for the longest time, and could you go over groups and how to use them in Logic.

  • Bro don't ever stop making vids, your awesome

  • is there a way to put the vocals from one song to another?

  • Such quality tutorials. Thank you again

  • great vid bro!

  • woow! i asked for this on twitter, the guy actually listens to us lol, thanks alot!

  • i was waiting for this thanks alot
