Sephiroth is created by Professor Hojo when he had you know :D with some1 and then Hojo experimented on, Cloud AND Zack were experimented on with Jenova cells Before FF7 Last Order(when zack and cloud faint after fighting sephiroth for the first time, Sephiroth jumps and dies xD!). that is why they call him brother(kadaj etc..) in ff7 advent children.

Actually, Cloud is a clone of Sephiroth. He was considered a failed expirament, and yes, he does have Jenova cells in him also.

This game is such a set up for the True FFVII sequel. We'll probably find out that Genisis was the one who rigged the whole Neiblehim mission along with Hojo to make Sephiroth go nuts on prupose. Genisis will return as the new main villian, Angeal will probably return, and so on.
