i find this to be an evocative video which really captures the heart of the character titus pullo. your timing was perfect and the lack of "flashy" effects added a poignant simplicity that reflects the man portrayed. historical dramas such as rome relate what is true about humanity irregardless of the time period. we work hard, we fall short, we love, we feel pain, we struggle on to find meaning. to combine a modern portrayal of history with a modern age song just proves that. bravo cierra!!

If you had then you should understand the relation between the lyrics and the character.

It's not the kind of music I listen to but I think it matches Pullo's story quite well.
