In the real world dude...we know a tourist when we see one and we allow for their attempts to grasp a language they are obviously trying to use out of politeness but not proficient in. They are trying to be accomodating of the culture they are in - especially if the locals arent fluent in language other than their own. You go to France and see how they treat people who dont use their language. You dont want to behave like the French do to tourists who struggle with their language. Although lucky for you..half of France is Muslim ethnicity so you might be okay.

In Arabic or in Egyptian Arabic in this case,the tourist was not rude
He just didn't know how to put the verb correctly.When you say what is your name or his/their name in Arabic it is just one word that you have to change at the end and anybody who is not familiar with the language can be confused
I just watched the video again and the tourist said nothing mean or rude.
He asked the local what is the name of the donkey,then he added--my name is donkey,my name is Jim.So he said my name(Ismi)instead of saying his name(Ismo).So we can see he doesn't understand Arabic,but he was not desrespecting the local at all and he was NOT calling the local donkey.Getting offended by this is retarded.
