Wait so did Rei let go of the Fire Soul power that was fighting against the water blast to perform Burning Mandala. And would that girls blast already shoot at Rei if she let go!
HONESTLY, THE COMPARISON BETWEEN THE ANIME AND THE LIVE ACTION, SHOULDN'T BE DONE, BECAUSE THE LAST ONE IS SO LAME. SOMETIMES IT SEEMS THAT THE ANIME IS ALIVE WHEREAS THE LIVE ACTION, THE ANIME ONE. I DO NOT KNOW IF YOU CATCH MY POINT......
@k0reangirlX I was not the one who made the original comment to which you responded. If you are so concerned with adhering to what was done in the original Japanese then perhaps you ought to make their senshi names one word, as was the practice in the Japanese version (Sailormoon, not Sailor Moon) if it's so unacceptable to use anything established by the English incarnation. Also, the word scout did exist before the Girl Scouts, so your cookie comment is unnecessary.
Yes, the word did exist before Girl Scouts, but Sailor Moon existed after it. And I also do realize that in the Japanese original, the soldiers' names were combined as one word, but since the original title is actually Bishoujo Senshi Sera Mun, not Bishoujo Senshi Seramun, I'd rather go with Sailor Moon. Plus, in most translations of the manga and anime, and the new reprint of the manga, their names are said as two separate words.
@k0reangirlX So your argument is that since the Girl Scouts' inception no female identify herself as a "scout" other than in reference to Girl Scouts? Odd viewpoint.
The reason why I am against "scout" is because they don't go ahead and look for spying purposes (and etc.), they actually go in and just fight, which makes them Sailor Soldiers.
@k0reangirlX They search for their princess, they search for the Silver Crystal, they gather intel on their enemies before charging into battle when possible. Scouts is a perfectly appropriate term.
DiC's dubbing (I.E: Origin of "Sailor Scouts") = First 2 Seasons only.
Throughout the series when they go against their main villain they rarely do so without trying to gather information (in other words, scouting) and form a plan.
@UndefeatableTwilight oh okay thanks.

Well, you're watching a video clip from the original series, but you referred to them by their dub name. Plus, I don't recall them selling cookies

@tricuarta In terms of physical strength, Sailor Jupiter. In terms of overall power, Sailor Galaxia. Or Sailor Cosmos in the manga.
