That´s great ! Let me know about your progress. Answering your previous question, the thrust equals to 54% of the weight. It weights 1.3kg and the maximum thrust available is about 700g. Tought, it handles moderate and some heavy winds and even some strong gusts quite well. Usually, half throttle (~10 Amps total ) is enought to keep it flying straight away.

that's realy low thrust you need. I might have misscalculated, i ordered 3500KV motor for 4S and HK64mm edf (around 1kg each). The hull and wings are almost done, waiting for my hobbyking shipment to be delivered...

noossa fiquei muito admirado, um modelo tao bonito e que voa, vc constroi modelos e vende tambem? pilotava aeromodelos mas glow, tive ate um learjet 60, mas agora como estou estudando para ser piloto real nao tive mais tempo para praticar aero!!, gostaria muito de ter um modelo desses ou similar, como 737, que e a aeronave que eu estudo, abs!!

Este é o meu problema tb: Falta de tempo. Este modelo foi construido em 2008. Voei bastante com ele em 2009 mas este ano nao tenho tido tempo nem de voar ele. Ano passado nao consegui construir mais nenhum. estou com uma construcao de um piper PA-28 empacada há 11 meses...

São 2 Electric Ducted Fans de 55m, da GWS, cada uma com 235W com bateria 4S (14,8V). O aviao pesa 1,3kg. Cada EDF está equipada com um motor GWS inrunner de 3900kv.
