The oil comapnies have been subsidized for years and have effectively shut down the free market and competition. If nobody wants it, the price is cheap. There are some legal technicalities associated with holding the pres office. BO's dad was foreign and HI had not been a state long. Were BO born outside the US, there could be some legal hassles for him. Or his BC may say "Arab" or "Negro" or something off the wall he doesn't want to get out.
