Can everyone stop saying that they are making the first movie all over again? Because they don't. This is a new story and a new Spiderman Universe (mostly based on the Ultimate Universe). This movie will be realistic and modernized.
Andrew Garfield was the perfect choise for Peter Parker and he is also very passionate about the role.
Peter will be in High School for the entire movie and he will not be working at the Bugle yet.

The SM trailer is good, and if you knew anything about the production of the film you would know that Sony was going for a completely different direction for the franchise, free of camp and more character focused. Admittedly the First-Person POV at the end did look a little on the low end of CGI, but its a teaser, there is still plenty of work to be done on the film. And they will be visiting OsCorp and presumably the Goblin story line, soooo clearly the franchise did need a reboot, not a sequel

In my opinion, I quite enjoyed the first person sequence. It is an entertaining element in the trailer and has an interesting property. In my psychological opinion there are two ways it could go, it could positively affect people and inspires a sort of spark of interest in people. They see the sequence and think in terms of an interesting fantasy such as : what the life of this new spider-man is like; that could possibly attract people to the movie.

Secondly, this film looks a lot darker than the original trilogy and I think that is a good thing because Spider-Man is a very complicated character. Doesn't work as it does look like a video game and with cgi you could do anything these days. I would have been impressed if they somehow filmed real places and used a camera mounted on an rc plane so you get the real sense of danger jumping across all those heights

Having spoken my thoughts I would like to conclude with a fact. People are attracted to first person video games because they feel more in tune with the characters thoughts feelings and actions, and so it could go either way

In my opinion, I quite enjoyed the first person sequence. It is an entertaining element in the trailer and has an interesting property. In my psychological opinion there are two ways it could go, it could positively affect people and inspires a sort of spark of interest in people. They see the sequence and think in terms of an interesting fantasy such as : what the life of this new spider-man is like; that could possibly attract people to the movie.

The first person view really it works, its just like the comics. Thats what they were aiming for. Like I said before..unless you haven't read the comics..you're not going to like this reboot because fans are to used to the Sam Rammi films and think they are "original".

I thought the first person aka Point of View aka POV shots were cool. We'd all love to be the web slinger, right? What better way to show it! The mirror's edge controversy, now that's something to kick a fuss about. I don't think the film's trying to be a computer game, though (which you're arguing). Did you see any HUD?

Ok, first of all it was just a teaser trailer. I am sure the actual movie will not be in 1st person you dumbass. This teaser trailer showed a lot more of the movie than the Dark Knight Rises Trailer. Secondly, this film looks a lot darker than the original trilogy and I think that is a good thing because Spider-Man is a very complicated character. Lastly, this movie is going to be more accurate to the comic books which is also a good thing so stop pretending you know what you are talking about.

I agree with you on The Amazing Spiderman, but "In-Time is an original Sci-Fi story"? haven't you ever heard of Logan's Run? it's basically the same story and theme, it's nothing more that a mirror mirror concept, or reversal of the story.
In-Time is about original of a story as West Side Story was, a.k.a (Romeo and Juliette).

Regarding "Dream House" Trailer: "If they give away the twist... it's not the real twist. You'll see." I hope you're right, otherwise everyone else giving negative comments on how completely idiotic it is to give the major plot twist in a trailer is right. Or... instead of movie trailers showing the best parts of a movie, they'll now start showing the best parts of the movie PLUS the major plot twist, but somehow the movie industry will still thrive...

The whole thing is completely zanny, I think they portray peter parker slightly the wrong way and the only reason they do that stupid first- person scene at the end of it was to push the fact that the film is gonna be in 3-D. And why the hell didn't they show what the Lizard looks like!
