Its a glitch just like the clan tag they will patch it tbe tokens yes u will or did get ban. But the weapon glitch u wont they will patch sure it cheap only really work on a few guns that show it. They will patch it like every other glitch.

In the coc and it also says when you report someone that you CAN get banned for in game exploits. The proficiency glitch is an exploit so you will get banned for it if you get caught.
