Not everyone who smokes dies before reaching a ripe old age. Non-smokers die before the age of 70 all the time. It is no more stupid than any other risky activity anyone participates in. Driving in rush hour traffic is just as risky. If you're cool with living your life in a padded room thats fine. I'd rather get lots of sun on my skin, enjoy a beer, have a smoke, and live a free life that lasts 50 years than live to be 90 and a burden on my family. But I support your decision not to smoke.

Statistically two packs of cigarettes a day will knock 10 years off the life expectancy of an otherwise healthy 50 year old male. Instead of dying at 87 years old he can expect to die at 77 years of age. Hardly fair to the wife and grandkids is it? It is risk taking behavior but it benefits no one including the risk taker.

Valid studies do link motor vehicles and use of seat belts to fatalies. Motor vehicles are an essential means of transportation. Cigarettes are a choice. I don't want to ban anything including smoking but people ought to be smart enough to make informed choices. Why would anyone choose smoking and an earlier death?. Except that life is choice - as can be death.

Hi guys, I will be a smoker till the day I die! I came from a family of smokers & they all lived a long & healthy lives I don't swallow all the B.S The media throws out. I love smoking it relaxes me. I don't drink or do drugs. But I do enjoy my cigarettes. I am fighting this ban along w/2.8 million other smokers in Illinois. The problem is among the non-smokers. Not us! P.S. My relatives who lived to their 80's & 90's died of natural causes. I've smoked 35 years & I'm fine! DON'T KNOCK THE BUTT!

If smokers would learn to AVOID EXHALING they would be more welcomed by the non-smokers. I don't really want to work next to, sit next to or talk to somebody who smells like the dregs of a filthy old ashtray. I don't want to breathe their second-hand smoke and I don't want to spend my tax dollars caring for them when they finally achieve their goal and cancer takes one or both of their lungs. No, some of my other videos are dumber than this one. Check out "Hair Today and Gone Tomorrow" on my channel. Some of Jesse's other songs are also pretty lame. I'd say that his "Jesse's a Jerk" song is probably his dumbest ever. We are particularly proud of one of our recent videos, "Made in China - Obama and McCain Sing". Smokers have the right to refuse to patronize all establishments who choose to participate in discrimination. Like black people in the 1950's were not allowed to eat at white restaurants.
