I agree with you, Christine, 100%. Since I started to study the Law of attraction, I went through many different phases and stages of understanding this phenomena.. The best way is to surrender to the inner guiding system ( divine will) and let the happiness in in whatever form it will appear. If we hold onto the desires of ego, we only affirm our sense of lack and un-completeness. The Universe knows what's best for us, and sometime we don't get what we hope for, we get what we need to grow.

Those desires however are just thoughts passing through. If you spend your energy trying to obtain all those things, you're identifying with those thoughts instead of a deeper level of yourself. Every single person who is afraid of flying probably things about crashing often when they're in the air. (I speak from experience).
So why is air travel statistically the safest form of travel there is? If everybody were thinking about plane crashes, there'd be many more plane crashes than actually occur.

Anxiety is terrible. Its like the mind in a pressure cooker and you're basically stuck on the inside. Get out of mind and you're free like a bird and it's wonderful. Metaphysical Sciences- The " letting go" part seems to be my tuffest so far...is " letting go" = to " forgetting"? I have desires but i prefer the divins way, whatever that may be.

@highmountain0 we will all die when its our time, you didn't die yet because you have not finished your 'mission'(for want of a better word).
you have (like many ) just got in to a pattern of negative thinking, probably because you have had a tough life ( or journey) , but it is all for the learning processes.
i had a pretty hard start too, and still life is hard sometimes for me(ie bills, relationships, negative people crossing my path etc) but it is YOU who decides if you are happy or sad
your got a very relaxing presence ...if to be tense in the arm then it will move slower, so to it is with things out side the body and in the mind also... a river that is slow drys up it has no source and becomes stagnant and then nothing can grow out of it... so if one is like a tree then the good environment affects its growth starting at the roots =-)

Generally speaking, there have got to be many, many people who are afraid of flying because they're afraid the plane might crash.
Every single person who is afraid of flying probably things about crashing often when they're in the air. (I speak from experience).
So why is air travel statistically the safest form of travel there is? If everybody were thinking about plane crashes, there'd be many more plane crashes than actually occur.
The so-called Law of Attraction is just confirmation bias.

Anxiety is terrible. Its like the mind in a pressure cooker and you're basically stuck on the inside. Get out of mind and you're free like a bird and it's wonderful. The trick is knowing how to keep soaring in the sky and only using mind like a tool but not believing that you are your mind. Sadly i cannot do this and suffering goes on and on.

I think maybe some people put way more into it than there really is. Negative thoughts breed negativity ...yep happy thoughts make you happy...yep i mean i dunno. U want a car..use mind power..i guess that would just be a haircut, a job, save ur money and buy one. I just dont get what is going on with mind powers. And yes people do die. I havent heard of anyone coming back besides Jesus. Maybe we just need some more Jesus in our lives .

I just want to say though that I think you using the wrong words in the sence that there's nothing wrong with living life and working and letting come into existence what we want. We all need purposes and when someone is tring to go after their passion what's wrong with tring to manifest it? A nice house and nice car etc. can be in that too, why not? We have fun luxurious toys in this world and we all deserve to enjoy it.

You believe that surrendering yourself to whatever is to be done with you and that the "universe" has your well-being in mind. This is ridiculous. Far too much suffering goes on in the world to conclude that any supernatural force of guidance gives two shits about the personal enjoyment of anyone's life experience.
Testing another belief... The idea that a higher self or god can be considered YOU. No memory of existing as this entity makes you a separate entity...

i have been strugling with letting go and surendering for twenty five years all i get is pain and missery and more doubt but thats just me. i wish that some one would teach me how to surredner and let go (litteraly) with out so much fear pain and missery involved i do not know how to get past that part. being born is painful infact it is more pain full to be born than it is to die...i dont want to be born again cause i cant stand the paiin, sometimes i would rather just die...

you have (like many ) just got in to a pattern of negative thinking, probably because you have had a tough life ( or journey) , but it is all for the learning processes.
i had a pretty hard start too, and still life is hard sometimes for me(ie bills, relationships, negative people crossing my path etc) but it is YOU who decides if you are happy or sad

your got a very relaxing presence ...if to be tense in the arm then it will move slower, so to it is with things out side the body and in the mind also... a river that is slow drys up it has no source and becomes stagnant and then nothing can grow out of it... so if one is like a tree then the good environment affects its growth starting at the roots =-)

This is a pretty cool concept. I think this has been happening for me lateley. I've been focusing more on raising my frequency than manifesting specific things. It's brought me into some situations that I hadn't anticipated. :)

Global warming is natural, other planets in OUR own solar system have their ice caps melting as well...its the SUN!!! the only thing our big cars are doing is putting contaminants thus effect our breathing=how long we are able to live in a physical body.Plus if everyone was awake we would just end up creating something unbelievable,of pure beauty and harmony NOT destroy the earth! Put a bunch on really enlighten people in one room and just watch the "magic" happen...enough said... peace!

i think that finding and living as your "internal self" or spirit is all fine and good, but i notice a lot of people don't think of this: we're here in this world for a short time. the after life is where you are your spirit and where eternity exists. so isn't this life really meant to be lived as your "human self", and just adapt your spiritual characteristics over? like having a kind and caring and loving nature. but don't get me wrong i believe that spiritual growth is one of our purposes

Not knowing what I want and generally being dissatisfied with the results when I get them, I trust that only something greater than myself can A)lead me to more than I could imagine, B)arrange 'everything' in such a way that this can be accomplished from any starting point, and C)fix the sort of giant problems that dwarve my tiny ability.
..Or at least show me why they are not problems at all. ;)
