I really really wished the world for Beth Sorrentino. I met her backstage at a show they did in Chicago sometime in (spring?) 1994. I told her how much her songwriting reminded me of Carol King, and we both chatted about how that era of music influenced us. I hope that wherever she is today, she's still making music - she's got quite a gift.
She's one of those writers / singers that just makes me melt every time I hear her. Totally different style, but I put her along side Kate Bush for just shear emotionally musical brilliance. Thank you so much for posting!
