Goodness, where do you get your data from? The largest Muslim country I would call Indonesia, correct me if I'm wrong. The last time I was there, 2002, every island had it's own religion. A lot of Muslims, yes, but even in 2002 still local. Not Buddhist. Many are based on Buddhism or Hinduism, but many have local gods like Sang Hyang Widdhi.

According to The World Christian Database, Islam grew by 1.84% per year between 2000 and 2005. Christianity grew only by 1.34%. The average population growth has been 1.41% per year.
Conclusion: christianity is growing slower than the world population, which means the percentage of people who are christian is decreasing. The contrary is happening with islam.
Encyclopedia Britannica is even more drastic: 2.12% for islam, 1.36% for christianity.

The beginning of the Universe (BIG BANG) in the QURAN 21:30 "Do not the Unbelievers see that the heavens and the earth were joined together (as one unit of creation), before we clove them asunder? We made from water every living thing. Will they not then believe?"

Therefore the two accounts are not contradictory. What is here is simply one prophet choosing to give us a complete victory of the Ark at once (rather than referring to it later) and another presenting history in a different way. In both cases the timing of events is the same.

There are many Biblical sites to answer these questions and there are a few books also which answer these questions. An apologist if he has a probelm with some passages in the Bible makes it his/her business to sort it out. Sometimes it can be surprisingly simple.

In 2 Kings 8:26 we find this statement:
Two and twenty years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign; and he reigned one year in Jerusalem.
In contrast with the above statement we read in 2 Chr. 22:2:
Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign...

Fortunately there is enough additional information in the Biblical text to show that the correct number is 22. In Kings 8:17 Ahaziah's father Joram ben Ahab was 32 when he became king and died at the age of 40. Therefore Ahaziah could not have been 42 at the time of his father's death. Such sribal errors do not change Christian beliefs in the least. As I said before another portion of scripture often corrects the mistake. In this case 2Kings 8:26.

It is stated in 2 Samuel 5 and 6 that David brought the Ark to Jerusalem after defeating the Philistines, while chapters 13 and 14 of 1 Chronicles, describing the same event, make David bring the Ark before the defeat of Philistine. One of the two statements must be wrong.

If one reads 1 Chronicles 15 one can see that David brought the Ark after defeating the Philistines.The reason for this is that the Israelites moved the Ark twice.The first time they moved it from Baal prior to the defeat of the Philistines. We see in 2 Samuel 5 & 6 and 1 Chronicles 15 once the prophet narrates David victory, he tells us both times when the Ark is moved.The Ark is moved from Baal, then David defeats the Philistines. Finally the Ark was moved from the house of Obed-Edom.

The Words of I Chronicles (18) Verse 1:
David smote the Philistines and subdued them and took Gath and her towns out of the hands of Philistines.
One of the two statements must be wrong.

Well as you know that "sin and "sheen" in Arabic are different only though dots above the letter.......the same in Hewbrew. The dots might have faded over time, that is why there are very slight variations in names and number as the Jews used letter to denote numbers.

Contrary to this 2 Chronicles 16:1 says:
In the sixth and thirtieth year of the reign of Asa Baasha, King of Israel came up against Judah...
According to the first text Baasha died in the twenty-sixth year of Asas reign so that in the thirty-sixth year of Asas reign he has been dead for ten years.

Does a prophet speak prophecies? Because Muhammad did not. He is commonly referred to as "Rasul al-Lah" - simply the messenger of G-d. Neither did he perform miracles. He and he alone experienced miracles. But miracles can hardly be deemed miraculous if no one is around to see them (miracle comes from the Latin "mirare" to witness or to see). The lack of formal miracles is probably why Muslims claim that the Quran itself is a miracle.
