@martinsmanuel91 I don't use Real-Time protection because it slows down my mac. I think it is better not to use it as wit will slow your Mac also. Yes, you can make the Menubar icon disappear, to do that just open up macKeeper and then press command+(comma key)right to the letter "M". After go into General tab and at the bottom you should see a option to either to display or not display the Mackeeper icon in the menubar.

Hi, I am sorry to be a pain here but I did absolutely everything and it still doesn't work, I use Lion. I turned wifi off, I used app zapper, cleaner, I paid attention to every step, the process completed perfectly every time. I tried a dozen times and it's always the same, once I open MacKeeper and do a scan of the issues it always asks me to sign up for an account...I did open a account before but I made sure to sign out before. Really need help, I am sure your way works...

After that you restart your Mac and then follow the steps in my video.Ater doing all that just run MacKeeperAuth file again and it should work. A Great advice: Never Ever sign up a acoount in MAcKeeper and if you already have then never sign in. And please dont use the Anti-Theft feature in MacKeeper.
