The Scorpion - Megadeth cover FULL w/Solos [ALL GUITARS]

Man, awesome right hand execution! By the way, I am considering buying this guitar because I'm an absolute Megadeth freak and I want a guitar that fits that style. But I love so much RRs that I want one that will last for many year and won't make me think of selling it to buy a USA one, so do you think this one stands well against the RR 1, even if it's a different design of RR?

@steelstrings500 Hello If you're a Megadeth fan, I don't think the RR24 would please you. Not because of the construction (which is excellent) but more cause of the pickups: one and only EMG 81. It doesn't fit megadeth sound at all. Thus if you're into solos (or even a clean tone), you'll miss the neck p-u. I would recommand you a guitar like the RR5 or RR5FR if you like RR shape that much. Would be a better choice IMO

@MrHeavenslord 100% accurate megadeth tabs don't exist, but there is an incredible fanpage on the net with over the top tabs. Just look at abysslord megadeth on google, you'll find it

As always supurb, sounds like you need a little more polish on those leads a few notes seemed a bit off. I find that it's often helpful to go to live recordings of the band playing the song to catch some subtleties that I might not catch in the recorded versions but when I play them I can tell they are in there.

technique toute bête mais diablement efficace: une guitare dans chaque baffle et non pas dans les 2 en même temps. Aussi incroyable que cela puisse paraitre, cela sonne moins bien sinon...

Un rien compliquée en revanche celle ci. Jusqu'a 4 guitares en meme temps, et la lead guitar (mustaine) joue les 3 solos. Je ne le cache pas, celle ci m'a donné du fil à retordre pendant un bon moment

@MickD44Klit ne m'en parle pas des songbooks... quand je vois comment je me suis saigné pour pouvoir acheter ceux de metallica à l'époque... Maintenant, sans une bonne base (par la j'entends une tab un minimum correcte), je ne peux pas non plus faire de miracle. Je corrige mais j'ai besoin "de propositions" de façons de jouer la chanson.

Tu seras ravi d'apprendre que les murs sont peu épais et que la voisine aime chanter à tue tête pendant que je joue :-p (de la variété italienne :-p)

@sonicfirestorm6 ^^ aactually I didn't change anything since the dual Slayer video in october. But since that moment, I pay more attention to the luminosity and the way to make the video with sony vegas. I'll experiment some other things in the future ;-)

@crushker Thanks man. I feel the same for some weeks with my last covers. It's really not to show off if I say that, it's just that I really see a difference in my playing and it makes me feel good to see that I still improve my playing years after years. It gives me the will to carry on ;-)
