I would've liked the movie even more if Eddie survived and the symbiote disitegrated without him. Then in a future sequel, Eddie could've gotten his hands on symbiote sample that Dr. Connors still has in his lab. Other than that, I hated Venom's apparent death. And I've been a Venom fan since the early 90s. Fucking Script Writers!

Dont blame Raimi. Sam Raimi was saving Venom for Spider-Man 4 to be the main villian by himself, while Sandman and New Goblin had part 3. But since the fans wouldn't get off his & Marvel's dicks about putting Venom in the 3rd movie, he had to squeeze him in at the last minute. So everybody pissed him off and messed up his plans, so what better way to get revenge than to kill Venom at the end of the movie after only about 7 minutes on-screen time and leave The Sandman alive. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

actually spiderman 3 was written by Sam Raimi, his brother Ivan Raimi, and Alvin Sargent. also Raimi had no plans for a spiderman 4 and doesnt like venom so he never planned to use him in spiderman 4. there was a plan to split the 3rd into two movies and flesh out the story more but it never happened because they couldnt form a sufficient ending if it were done
