This was the last great Castlevainia game. Castlevainia 64 sucked, SOTN sucked, and everything since with the metroid, woman anime animation blows. The storyline now sucks and makes no sence it's a fucking cartoon. Dracula X and previos Castlevainia's are epic.

I don't really like this version, Rondo of Blood and SCIV really made a better version for it.

Yeah, vyse19861 obviously never played through this series, beacause Castlevania IV has the best soundtrack. Vyse, do yourself a favor and play that game if you haven't already. NOW.

Not now, because I'm currently in Japan and simply can't ;) But once I get back to Germany, I'll definitely try Castlevania IV. The AVGN Castlevania series has made me very interested in that game.

It's a wonderful game, really. Also, pretty much anything from Konami for the SNES or Genesis features amazing chip tunes. For those not familiar, try out Axelay, Legend of the Mystical Ninja, Turtles in Time, Sparkster, Cybernator....

thats what happened to me, I only played castlevania IV cause he made it look so good. Not my type of game, in all honesty, but a very good game regardless. and a good soundtrack, nonetheless.

I don't know what MSX is, but the Super Nintendo version is the best.
