  • WOW! That is a dramatic positive change. You are doing so great. I am so happy for you! Keep doing art. Art (in the form of music) has helped keep me sane for over 25 years. I was suicidal diagnosed psychotic and major depression when I was 18. I am 41 now. I was physically and mentally abused as a child. But here I am. Still hanging on. Thanks to God, my guitar, people who love me, my doctors and medication. God bless you! Keep up the art and the positive out look!

  • Hi Lauren,

I'm glad to see you again. And wow, you look and sound so happy and you look even more beautiful (which I thought would not be possible ;) ).

You eyes shine happily and wow, your hair got long.

It is amazing how far you've been coming on your way to recover. Well, it is sad that your heart problems seem to not go away.

Are you still diagnosed with any mental illness like an ED or depression or BPD?

Your boyfriend seems to be good for you but please don't become too dependent on him

  • I hope you know how I mean this.

Well, I often tried to recover for others but when a friendship got difficult or ended, SIed more or turn to ED behaviours.

You can be very proud of your strength! Big hugs, good to see you again, Judith

  • Yo where did you get that red chair from? I wanna buy one. Looks good.

  • Hey when you posted your video on July 16th 2008, I responded to it right away. I was wondering if you could go back to that video you made and check it out. Im the one who responded with a video. Im 25 and from Oahu, HI and am wearing a green hat in the video. Its so great that you are doing well!!

  • That is awesome! Congrats! Maybe you can do a video about how you met your bf and how that's going in relationship to what he knows about the eating disorder

  • i'm so glad that your doing so well,....your such an inspiration to me. I was wondering where you lead groups mentor, because i could really use the help.

  • Little note: I'm so glad you just got a boyfriend at 23. It makes me feel so much better about not having had a boyfriend yet. I'm 20. It's definitely difficult to consider having a relationship when you're drowning in your own issues.

  • You are such an inspiration. You have such a sparkle in your eyes and can't stop smiling. it makes me smile. Keep going girl! you ARE doing this!

  • Congrats!!!! You are so amazing. I am struggling right now and I am trying to get better, but as you know it is soooo hard sometimes and I really need to get into treatment, but with no money and my insurance is not going to cover it, I am stuck for now. I do go to my eating disorder support group once a week and I see a therapist. Just watching your video now gives me hope and encouragement. Take care.

  • @AngeloftheNight2386

hi, i noticed that you said money issues was a problem in being able to get into treatment, i know of a treatment center that is no cast to patients, its called mercy ministries, i dont know if you would be interested but i thought i would let you know about it incase it is something that you may be interested in. i hope that you have success in recovery!

  • I'm 17, and I've been battling anorexia for about 4 years now.I've been better, and then I'll get worse...I've had seizures and passed out, and you'd think that would wake me up..how do you get to the point of saying I'm though!? I'm seeing an out patient doctor for ED's, a therapist/psychiatrist, and I know I need help, but I don't want to gain anymore weight , because I'm at a normal weight now. *Thank God* I just need help on getting over this for GOOD!

I'm glad to hear you're getting better!

  • YAY! i'm so happy for you!
