My church family and I will definitely be praying for the peace and unification of Jerusalem! We were blessed to visit Israel in September, 2008, and were very impressed with the staff at the Jerusalem House of Prayer! Thank you so much for your dedication, and perseverance. We are standing with Israel! God bless you!
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End, says the Lord God, He Who is and Who was and Who is to come, the Almighty (the Ruler of all).
It is not wise to discount the old testament - Isaiah 63 "4 It was for me the day of vengeance; the year for me to redeem had come. 5 I looked, but there was no one to help, I was appalled that no one gave support; so my own arm achieved salvation for me, and my own wrath sustained me. 6 I trampled the nations in my anger; in my wrath I made them drunk and poured their blood on the ground.”
Joel 3:2 He judges the nations for dividing up His land and scattering His people.
If Jerusalem is divided, there will be even more bloodshed and death, as the radicals who wish to destroy israel will persecute jews in their proposed state. Why don't they understand, the Jewish people were there first! The radical muslims have no right nor claim to Jerusalem! Let the Jews keep their city!
Christian Zionists have this peculiar fondness of quoting the Old Testament when it comes to declaring their support for the Zionist state of Israel.. but strangely are deafeningly silent when it comes to quoting what Jesus Christ (pbuh) says about Israel in the NT??
Can they point out just one verse in the NT where Jesus Christ himself (not Paul or anyone else, mind you), says something about the Jews that might suggest that he would support the Zionist state that exists today when he returns?
Hey man, thanks for your query, good question. Although not an expert by any means, I would point to some of the first words Jesus speaks in Matthew 5 v 17-20 initially. And then we remember that Jesus is right there in the OT speaking to His people alongside God the Father. He isn't a new kid on the block, He is one and the same. >>> Very Big N.B. One would also need to bring a little separation between His people and their politics!!! <<< Bless you as you seek understanding
@hamba2han the bible needs to be seen as a prophetic book -from start to end- all thta it says will be fulfilled even if common sense and our rational mind opposes it.The LORD JESUS CHRIST is LORD and KING and will
come and establish HIS eternal kingdom on this earth.
Well that didn't work. What happened? Did you not pray hard enough? Never mind, either it was Gods will or else try harder next time.
