i think this album will be better than i expected. although i have a deep appreciation and taste for every one of three days grace's songs, and basically know the lyrics and drum rythms for each (being a drummer myself) i liked their slower songs, ie: never too late, over and over, get out alive, etc. but i remember neil say that they wanted to write more songs with energy, to get the crowd going (riot, home, animal i..., etc) though it is good to see both here. i am pleased.

Ever since I listened to "Animal I have Become," "Riot" and "I hate everything about you" I fell in love with this band... I listened to the whole album and I really liked it... Though I don't want to admit it, and i'm shocked at myself for saying this about my favorite band.. The only song I like is "World so cold". The rest just.. Doesn't seem hard enough, like the way people would sing along to Riot. I don't find that with any song on this album..

No More seems a bit like I hate everything about you. Bully reminds me of some of the harder songs on their first album. The rest seem new. I like how they are different on every album.

bitter taste ,break, world so cold, the good life, no more, bully, going down are going 2 be the best songs and going down sounds like something erie off their first album, really!! its pretty good songs but the ones that i haven't mentioned are just way tooo soft to me and im sorta disapointed that a band like them had 2 have about 4 soft songs :'( unless there is a quick ass chorus in it somewhere...lets hope :P

You're right. They've gone soft and unrecognizeable (like some sort of nickelback wanna be). Face it, were it not for Adam's voice, we would never would have guessed that the album was actually by Three Days Grace

I agree, they've turned very poppy. It's the kind of album I'll buy for only 2 or 3 good songs; the rest I'll never listen to. On their original album I would love all the songs, on one-x there were about 1 or 2 that I didn't like...now, there's only about 4 good songs! This album has been a HUGE upset in my opinion. Let's just hope they'll bring out a better album in another 2 years time!

three days grace goes by the theory that you dont have to follow a certain style of music to write a good song. There was a big difference between one x and their first album so of course this sounds alot different.
