If you're used to working on GM's in general - they're really NO different than any other one! I mean the front end is just a chevette, the back end is any of the 80's X-body (citation, etc) car front ends, suspension, engine, even steering (just without the rack).
Fieros weren't THAT different. But Pontiac dealer mechanics who were being paid good money to repair Fieros ran and hid whenever one came in.
As one said within earshot of me as I was talking to the service writer about my Fiero one day, "I hate workin' on these things." Makes you wonder how many other GM cars GM dealer mechanics "hated workin' on" and still do.
lol quite funny. although they arent that different. they dont work the way gm would have liked them to either
