From what I gather it is about the Armageddon aka, the end of the world. "Whos in the bunker", "ice age coming" and "throw me in the fire" all elude to that, and "Laugh until my head comes off" brings to mind insanity. Also, just based on a some things Thom has said while talking about economics and capitalism, he could be meaning that the end of the world may be as a result of we humans replacing god with capital. "Take the money and run"
