  • U have the same computer as me. I am planning on fixing it up so this video was perfect

  • i just recently replaced my graphics card.and when i did, i think i unplugged somethin and didn't notice.i don't know what to do.can u maybe help me?

  • will i lose all my data, if i put it back in!!!

  • hi, is that thing a hard drive tht use to store all the computer data? My pc broke down and i decided to discard it. However i need to extract some of the useful data i store inside. So i just need to extrac and keep this harddrive?

  • @gradeAbra yup

  • Actually, removing an hard drive isn't a general process, like it's the same for EVERY computers. My computer, in order to remove the remaining Star Top Screws from my hard drive to remove it, has the other side of its case fixed with what seems to be ROUND TOP SCREWS. No stars, nor square, nor flat tops. Do you know of ANY screwdriver with a ROUND END? That seems odd. I mean, what kind of grip can you get with a ROUND end?

  • Terrible air flow lmao nice vid though

  • what size on the memory-card? 3,5 or 2,5? :D

  • @bihcardinals probably, but it would lead to you having to reinstall the OS

  • how can i know which is primary hard drive?? Need help please...

  • .... unfortunately my pcs arent that easy

  • You Suck. I disliked.

  • dislike, why? i dont hear a fucking clear voice -.- ahh

  • I'm watching this video to help remove my brother's hard drive. I already know how, but he's worried about removing the wires part.

Also, when I removed my hard drive a few months ago, I don't remember there being a blue plastic thing.

  • thank you man

  • my computer sometimes shuts down but it's virus free-could that be a problem of the hard drive???

  • "wrong way"..hahaha

  • If you're installing a new harddrive to replace the old one, do you need to have an OS pre-installed on it?

  • You can transfer the info from your old one, Maxblast is a good program to use or some data transfer kit will be two easy ways to do it.

  • u need to re-install the os on the new one or u can just clone old old hard drive so u can still have ur data on the new one

  • @BushMac1

It's not needed just install the harddrive then install your copy of windows in it

  • Thanks for the video. Can you just install any harddrive? Or do you have to buy it with an OS pre-installed on it?

I'm looking to remove my old harddrive and install a new one, and I'm going to take my old one into work. So, I can't just put the new one into the 2nd-harddrive bay.

    Thanks again!

  • nice man, i have an XPS 410 and the HD recently dumped on me, thanks man!
