  • i play arkham city to this song... rocks

  • When i go for some jogging i listen to this song and guess what!? i run fast has hell on the middle of the street avoiding all cars like someone planted a bomb at home and i need to stop it!

  • The 2 dislikes are the Harvey Dent and the Joker!

  • @theninjaofhalo Two-Face liked and disliked the video.

  • 2 guys are Joker's fans.

  • @ladamadelfuego Nobody liked your comment haha. Fail!

  • @whosnexttt Nobody supports yours either. lolololol

  • @zanebro what comment? I never posted one, except to my response to your comment, haha another fail for you!

  • @whosnexttt Sir, you made no sense.. get out pls!

  • this song is like taking a quiz.

  • Whys is this one 5:35 but the ones I find are online 4:49?

  • @Insanel123 because it is

  • Once Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises has come and gone Warner Bros will have an extremely tough time trying to 'reboot' the Bat franchise....Epic track.

  • @TheMasterNo6 I heard WB is looking into continuing the current series with a new director & Nolan producing while making sure the new guy doesn't screw shit up. Not 100% true, but I wouldn't mind it.

  • @DarthJones55 No, Warner are rebooting the series to make it lighter in tone so warner can put Batman in a Justice League Movie with Superman, Green Lantern and Wonder Woman.

  • if I had a theme song, this would be it

  • This is the epic theme of Nolans Batman....this just a kick ass theme....

  • did anyone hear about the douche that proposed batman 3 to be in 3d lmao

  • The part starting at 0:41 is my favorite. Is there a song that plays this longer because I remember hearing it in both movies a lot and it just sounds so badass.

  • did you knoq that Batman dresses like a bat and fights crime

  • Molossus with a TDK picture.

    Genius!!!

    Batman-Nolan movie number 3, we're waiting!!!!

  • Fear The Dark Knight!!!!

  • two face and the riddler in batman 3 i believe two face is alive and aaron lockhart will come back and i know who can play the riddler is jude law.

  • This song only fits one superhero, and that of course is BATMAN my friends.

  • but the thing is: Coleman Reese have to die! So this is a good enter for the riddler.

  • This song represents for me the toughtness of the dark knight. It always reminds me the scene where he jumps on Scarecrow's car.

And I bet that the Riddler will apear in the next movie and will torture and kill Coleman Reese to know Batman's true identity (he's a cheater).

  • idk the riddler is craxy smart so he might just figure it out... its not that hard... bruce wayne disappears for like 7 years then as soon as he comes back batman shows up... plus the whole parents murdered thing... and the always sleeping at work and stuff... youd think it would be kinda easy to figure out

  • @AlfredoNader coleman reese is the riddler....

look at his name, Mr.reese, say it fast enough and it becomes mysteries, mysteries are similar to riddles in the mind-fuck kind of way, + during the Batman: hush era, the riddler figures out batmans identity and goes out to tell the world, like mr reese did in TDK i think mr nolan is giving us a big hint

  • Really awesome!

  • is there a longer version of the beginning? in any of the songs?

  • THIS IS THE MOST EPIC SONG EVER!!!

  • This is my favourite bit of music from the new films and I believe to actually beat the Danny Elfman score by a bit, simply due to the epic nature of it.

  • This score is a fucking classic for sure.. but Danny Elfmans score is LEGENDARY!

  • Hans has done great work here, as with all his work, the guys a musical genius. 5/5.

  • i love new batman movie and the new game nice job mark hamill on the joker in the new game. can wait for the next movie.

  • i belive in the dark knight... just like a kid in begins.!!!

  • They used a shorter version of this song in the Dark Knight but the full song in the big car chase in Batman Begins

  • This song is so powerful, epic, emotional and moving. It is awesome, and Hans Zimmer is great.

  • i belive in justice

  • Do you believe in Harvey Dent?

  • I don't believe in Harvet Dent. He's just a myth parents tell kids to scare them. He's not real; he' all in your head.

  • I believe in Two-Face.

  • Two-Face IS real, but Harvey Dent is just a myth.

  • Read the info box.

  • Read the flipping information box! It says right there

The Batman Begins song Molossus. With a Dark Knight picture!

  • @plainmnmemy Bwahahah

    FAIL....

  • @plainmnmemy f***in' idiot. watch the movie!

  • @plainmnmemy lol idiot

  • It sounds like a followup to the 1989 theme in some weird way.

  • Much better than the shitty theme from the just as shitty Schumacker (I don't care if I spelled it right) films.

  • well why bother spelling it when you could just say schmucker?

  • It is fabulous !!!

  • 2:34 to 3 29 intese!!!!!

  • 4:14 to 4:17 sounds like the Pirates of the Carribean

  • yeah a lot of zimmers stuffhas lil tibbits of his other works. parts of the batman soundtrack reminds me of transformers lol

  • love this song

  • this is the theme of a badass superhero

  • I hope Nolan doesn't get replaced by someone else like what happened to Tim Burton after Batman Returns. If they replace Nolan with someone who is like Joel Schumacher, it will ruin the series and lots and lots and lots of people will be pissed off pretty bad. I want Nolan to direct the third Batman film and I'll pray if he will use the Riddler (Johnny Depp) and Firefly (some guy suitable for the job) as the villains. But, since The Dark Knight is a big-time success, we won't worry about it.

  • what about the penguin for the third one

  • If the Penguin is going to be in Batman 3, they have to find a good midget actor to do the part.

  • Danny Devito could reprise the role. Or Verne Troyer maybe.

  • how about phillip seymour hoffman

  • Comment removed

  • lol

  • how about catwoman (angelina jolie)? in the movie, it hints it out... "Will it protect against dogs?" "Should do fine from cats"

  • This is my favorite theme of the movie, the beginning is so awesome i listen too it all the time.

  • same i like to have it on while i play with my dark knight figures lol

  • it's so sad how he passed away. He was such a good actor, and he had a daughter. MAN!!!

    how SAD!!

well things happen for a reason..

    r.i.p

  • probaly so we can appreciate his performance more!

  • Yeah, but everything was blown way outta proportion after his death, there's no denying that one of the reasons the film was so successful was because of his death. The film would never have made as much money as it did if he had not died. but then again who knows.

  • well what we do know is that he left with a bang

  • Not a bad way to go, in my opinion

  • I agree

  • Right now, Nolan's probably thinking "After the next Batman movie, we'll kill off Bale, and MAKE MILLIONS!!!"

  • screw millions, they just hit the 1 bill mark

  • I said millions because Nolan knows he can't top Heath Ledger as the Joker.

  • good point

  • Not even Johnny Depp as The Riddler could beat Ledger as the Joker. Depp as Joker could be...adequate, but it won't happen.

  • yes, and they will make Alfred play batman to avenge bruce wayne.

  • Alright, about all this 3rd movie and no replacement, I am glad people express their opinions, but they are just OPINIONS, NOT FACTS YET, Another movie like this would be over the news, and that hasent happened yet so...

And Yes, Heath Ledger I believe is irreplacable as the joker....

  • althought

i would like if there a third movie mmm johnny deep hes crazy or some guy who act like crazier"!!!

    and an agent of caos!!!!!!!

    peace and love :D

  • Who will be the next joker??????

    any idea!!!

oo and this osng is great

  • There is none. there won't be a third movie as far as we know yet. Besides, Heath Ledger is the best. Noone can play the Joker the way he did.

  • There is a 3rd one...it is just uncertain if Nolan will return...or who the villian is.

Don't say that...you don't know...many times someone that takes up a role like this can do a competant job and that is probably Ledger bias since he died....Don't get me wrong he was incredibly good, but WB isn't gonna shut down its highest grossing villian cause of his death.

  • the backround sounds like wings flaping

    coincedence?

  • Well hanz zimmer did compose the song for the film specifically. That might be what he wanted, maybe not.

  • I always thought that too! I can't tell if it's made it sound like flapping wings or just the fact that it played when we saw bats flying all over the freakin place and now everyone attributes that sound to bats flying. Either way, I love playing this song whenever I see the crows outside my window starting to gather or fly away just for that same effect.

  • most epic soundtrack

  • amazing :D

  • This song was just as BADASS as Batman during the Dark Knight. This song MADE the action scenes.

  • This is the score when Batman, with sonar glasses equipment and assisted by lucius fox, had to race with the SWAT team to save the hostages in empty constructed building. That was the coolest scene (matched with the score) in The Dark Knight to me. Gosh.... really hard to be a Batman.....! But hopefully it was not the signal that Batman needed the sidekick for the next........

  • Robin won't come into this series. Nolan said he is like a baby during this. So no sidekick I think. It is just that Joker is his arch-villian so he'll give him the toughest fight.

  • No this track is used in the film Batman Begins.

I guess you mean 'like a dog chasing cars' ;)

  • The problem w/DK is Bats created his own technology, he was F'N BRILLIANT A SCIENTIFIC, TACTICAL and MARTIAL ARTS GENIUS! But in the two films they made Lucas his "source" which is bullshit. Bats can make that device himself. Remember in the film he "made some changes... improvements" to Lucas's device. Inorder to do that he'd HAVE TO POSSESS the scientific genius to reverse engineer it since he didn't create it.Bats in these two films is awesome minus the fact he's more reactive than proactive.

  • That is true to an extent but that is just a personality trait of batman to be smart and inquisitive, in the comic books, which Christopher Nolan is trying to stay true towards, Lucius fox invented, fixed, and updated all of Batman equipment.

  • In the comics Bruce as a child was more than merely smart/inquisitive... he was possessed/drive and a genius. I appreciate/respect the direction Nolan took the franchise but he isn't staying true at all to how intelligent Bruce is or even how much time he spent developing said skills.

Remember Ducard from Begins? That was the actual name of one of the men he trained w/finely tuning his detective skills. Ducard was not Ra's, two different characters.

Also, Lucius in the comics never invented.

  • Only making the distinction b/c in his early yrs Bruce/Alfred MADE/DEVELOPED the technologies, not Lucius. Check out Miller's Year1, Batman#0, Detective#0 or any recaps by Jim Lee. Another good example of how much time Bruce trained w/others ref The Many Deaths of Batman storyarc and you'll see how watered down Nolan took Bruce's training. He was never trained by the League of Assassins, fact is HE trained them in SonOfTheDemon.

Creative liberties were used&some don't help develop his character

  • Well the comics also have a lot of second-rate writing, and a lot of campiness. I'm much happier with Nolan than with most of the stuff in the comics.

Really, can't wait to see where Nolan goes from here in his career.

  • No offense but how far back have you read? Sure there is less than stellar writing since the creation to now, but those DO NOT depict Bats origin, nor how he acquired his detective, scientific, martial arts etc skills. The fact is most of the origin stories are FIRST rate, that's why they get retold for new readers! Read Many Deaths of Batman, Shaman, Killing Joke, Year One, Year Two, Son of the Demon, No Man's Land, just to name a few.

  • What I was trying to say was that there's some shabby writing in comics, but there's some great writing too. I like Killing Joke. Year One was...meh. I'll check-out the others.

But I think my basic beef with comic books is that they don't really explore the full potential of their medium. Alan Moore had a great interview with Wired three days ago (I can't link you) just about this. Just Google "Legendary Comics Writer Alan Moore on Superheroes, The League, and Making Magic" (with quotations).

  • isnt this only from batman begins? and not from dark knight soundtrack? im sure it is present in the dark knight but i havent found a sort of molossus "dark knight version", i would have loved alot more of the beats from 0:13-0:23, that beat really makes it for me.

  • Yes that's why I wrote in the description box The Batman Begins song molossus!

  • i was replying to fAtbAstUrd350, i knew what the description said. ive heard theres a remake of the batman begins version for dark knight somewhere, anyone know how i can find it?

  • 0:40-1:03 and 1:20-35 are great too

  • This is really the film of the Nolan series, so who cares.

  • @guyfromdubai

does anyone have a version or a remix, that emphasizes on that bit (0:13-0:23)

  • the best song in the dark knight soundtrack, very intense
