Good luck with your deck garden. It works well. My problem is not enough hours of sun. It works fine for the herbs, but I really don't get enough hours to get great tomatoes. It also seems to get a bit hotter on a deck when the sun is directly overhead, so I think I have to water a bit more frequently.
My deck is south facing so hopefully I will have enough sun during the day for tomatoes. Good call on the extra watering. The intense heat from the sun and it's reflection on the house could probably fry greens pretty easy. :) You really take good care of your home. I'm just figuring it out. Anyway, have a good one!
I live in Chester County, which is located in the suburbs of Philadelphia. It really is green here. That is one of the things I noticed most, when I returned from a trip out west. Everything seemed so dry and brown in the west, so it was a dramatic contrast when I returned home. Actually, it is so green that I have trouble getting enough sun for my deck garden.
nice decking im just about to fit decking to my back garden ive never fitted any before but ill soon find out if im good at it haha anyway as i say that is a nice deck
