I got something like that myself 2 years ago. I thought it was good, but after hearing this, I'm depressed. I also noticed the game stops working from time to time.
I got a fake Super Mario Advance game from eBay once. It had the same problems... it kept deleting and bringing back old files. Man, I hate eBay sometimes D:<
The official cart has an EEPROM. Those can die too (eventually) .. the epoxy blob is just an unpackaged chip die.. Your save game issues are probably due to the save patches they have applied.. its a bootleg, what do you expect?
I have a cartridge like that except the nes emulator on mine is called visual nes in the menu. And mine has 4 gba games, not 3. I really wish I could have the chip in mine instead of the battery so I could actually finish the games I have on it.
the watch batter is for the saving part of you cartridge for that one but it kinda like a computer mobo battery anyways just try to keep juice to it and your saves wont go away
Ah the much lauded erase a game save option on the cheap knockoffs. Don't get me wrong the idea of so many games on a cartridge fine. But erasing saves?
When I got my first DS for X-mas, I got a GBA cartridge as well. It was a 99in1. Below it says 'A9902 No repeat'. On the front it says MARIO WORLD, with 3 GBA Mario games pics: SMA 2, 3 and 4. In the game, none of those games were there. It held 99 NES games, like SMB 1, 2 and 3, as well as 4 (but its Mario's Time Machine). It got SM 14 (? Look it up), Mario Brothers, and Doctor Mario. The rest is just random NES games. I always thought it was official, but it's a fake :(
i have a bunch of multicarts kind of like this. They play ridiculous "WTF" games that i've never even heard of, and i don't think they're official, i think they're all homebrew.
i hav a 1-99 and 120-1, their nto al bad its pretty nice i dotn get why your being all mad about it, it actualy sometimes has converted nes games which is nice and on my 120-1 had 2 pokemon games (ruby-saph)
@junit95 Probably until the cell battery dies then you will either have to replace it or play it without saving. Bootlegs don't use the more expensive flash type eprom saves.
I have a feeling I could find some rip off games at a Gamestop or Gamecrazy. Might check out the gaming-oriented store in my area for some crap since you're making my, sadly, curious. I would enjoy some of this crap. >_>
@jocivancabrera1 Freak no. My eye doctor disproved this. I play video games, and am on the computer tons, and have been for much of my life, and I only have gotten to the point of wearing glasses.
"Unfortunately, it's just another piece of trash. Bleh." *hand slowly backs away a bit* I laughed at that part! That just made my night after I had a fight with my sis!
If I could get that I could probably fix that other than the state of the chip its very good programming if I could probably Inmput it into a compact card (BTW A big games card like golden sun two or the doom 1&2 pack)
Who cares if You can get into the emulator menu Its still fun to cheat at it
You can find some MultiCarts for the Original GameBoy in Swap Meets if you live near one or you know where to find one check em out and look for them. I actually have a Multi Cart myself doesn't work anymore though, turns out if you leave a Multi Cart in the sun for too long the blow up :P
I have the same thing, except the three actual gba games are "KimPossible", "Finding nemo" and "Aladin" If I can find it you can have it if you want. just mail me :)
This happened in Restaurant City (flash game on Facebook) too...one moment, things were missing, and when I restarted it, all the things that were not there plus other deleted files were brought back. Common error.

I have 3 of them :P
160 in one and 5 of them is GBA :P But it is Final Fantasy IV, Mario etc. so its not bad games.
And one with 66 in, 3 of them is GBA.
And finaly one with 678 games in one O.o but its not PAL :P
