GOTY had to be a multi-plat game so both parties could be happy, ps3 and 360. If GTA IV were really GOTY, it would have won best game on both consoles. Also, Gears isn't even a first person shooter, and Metal Gear Solid 4 won best graphics, WOW.
PS3 is more creative thats why its better first all the exclusives on PS3 are different there not just all shooting and has Blue-Ray wich in fact is a HUGE deal since now everything is going more hd like YouTube and digital tv in February all HD tvs are gonna be in higher resolution wich makes the PS3 more next gen and advanced system.PS3 should have its own gen like Gen 8 just by itself cause 360 camo out in 05 wen da ps2 was still on so maybe 360 shouldnt be called next gen PS3 RULEZZZZZZZZZZ!

The way I see it, the top system will be PS3, and the second will be the Wii, and last is the 360. The PS3 has much more under the hood and is capable of so much more while the wii juss has it wonderful innovation that 360 doesn't.
I've played both and I prefer PS3. Why would you own a PS3 if you thought 360 was better? It depends what the person wants in a system. There is no "better system". It is all subjective.
the PS3 isnt as good as the Xbox because it doesnt have as many good games, and the online system sucks. And now that there is a cheaper blu-ray player there is no purpose to buy the PS3.
actually the online system of the PS3 is vastly inferior, it has massive amounts of lag and is alot less user-friendly. Mostly due to the fact that they dont have a set online interface like Live does
I'm going to disagree. It is certainly user friendly and from the admittedly few games I've played online I'm yet to experience ANY lag. And because I don't know what you mean by "set interface", I won't argue with you there.
Well the many games i have played online, i have experienced lag and random disconnecting. And by set interface I meant, in the 360 the online interface is the exact same from game to game; however, in the PS3 it isnt, it varies from game to game, which sucks because not only do you have to use a different interface each time, some of them aren't user-friendly and in general are shitty.
I agree that the xbox's online system is better than the PS3's, yet you still have to consider that you have to pay quite a bit of moolah for xbox live.....
such a failure of a commercial, really last years commercial was fucking awesome and actually showed game footage, this is just vague and failed, should had emphasized on LBP
hey guys this is the best thing ever, yesterday i was looking on the internet , and i found something really cool "PS3 SLIM" is coming thanks to sony and his blue-ray player, the blue-ray is now smaller, how small well it can be pack in a laptop, that means we are SO close to see the PS3 slim, if you don't belive how about the 160GB PS3?
I was thinking more along the lines of Remote Play, where PS1 titles and assorted media can be streamed to the PSP from the PS2 over a wireless network. Hopefully Sony can get PS2 compatibility in there somehow.
in my opinion, sony cares way too much about graphics and movie quality rather than game quality. i mean, afterall it IS a video game console. but they would rather have blu-ray and good looking graphics than a fun game. :/ (please dont reply to me sayin "they do have good games returt!!!" i know they have a few, but not many.)
vykrel they dont have good games because xbox360 came out first in the market. And majority of the game creators for PS switched to xbox360 and started making games for them. After the release of PS3, majority of game developers are reluctant to go back into the PS market since the big bucks already in the xbox line.
it would have way better games but most game developers know that its a mistake to make a game exclusive for ps3. its not because its younger than the 360
it could be the price of PS3. PS3 games isnt cheap compared to other consoles and its prior successor PS2. Average price range for PS3 is ~$60-$70. Ps2 averages ~$45 the most. Another issue could be PS3 idea of blue ray since it isnt a popular trend as of current state. However PS3 do have several considered exclusives, such as GT5 and MGS4 since those are only available for PS3. PS3 games are okay, but majority lacks the soul (know what I mean?).

besides PS3 could release a new console in about a yr or so called PS3 slim. Ps2 and psx had theirs. Why not PS3. I just think PS3 is okay, but the price of the console is a problem. Its still to expensive, maybe ~$250 would attract more.

All I know, I HAD a 360 and couldn't sell it cause no one wanted it. I finally sold it and turned around and bought a PS3. That was the best decision I've ever made. I love my PS3. And no, I'm not a fan boy, I'm a casual gamer (aka - I have a life). And I love my PS3.

hey guys this is the best thing ever, yesterday i was looking on the internet , and i found something really cool "PS3 SLIM" is coming thanks to sony and his blue-ray player, the blue-ray is now smaller, how small well it can be pack in a laptop, that means we are SO close to see the PS3 slim, if you don't belive how about the 160GB PS3?

isnt the only feature that PSP and PS3 adaptability is that the PSP can serve as a controller for PS3? That isnt very useful at all.

I was thinking more along the lines of Remote Play, where PS1 titles and assorted media can be streamed to the PSP from the PS2 over a wireless network. Hopefully Sony can get PS2 compatibility in there somehow.

in my opinion, sony cares way too much about graphics and movie quality rather than game quality. i mean, afterall it IS a video game console. but they would rather have blu-ray and good looking graphics than a fun game. :/ (please dont reply to me sayin "they do have good games returt!!!" i know they have a few, but not many.)

vykrel they dont have good games because xbox360 came out first in the market. And majority of the game creators for PS switched to xbox360 and started making games for them. After the release of PS3, majority of game developers are reluctant to go back into the PS market since the big bucks already in the xbox line.

it could be the price of PS3. PS3 games isnt cheap compared to other consoles and its prior successor PS2. Average price range for PS3 is ~$60-$70. Ps2 averages ~$45 the most. Another issue could be PS3 idea of blue ray since it isnt a popular trend as of current state. However PS3 do have several considered exclusives, such as GT5 and MGS4 since those are only available for PS3. PS3 games are okay, but majority lacks the soul (know what I mean?).

ya i know what u mean. most ps3 games just dont have the fun that most other games have. the only one i had a lot of fun playing was motorstorm. and i guess littlebigplanet is prolly fun too.

besides PS3 could release a new console in about a yr or so called PS3 slim. Ps2 and psx had theirs. Why not PS3. I just think PS3 is okay, but the price of the console is a problem. Its still to expensive, maybe ~$250 would attract more.

All I know, I HAD a 360 and couldn't sell it cause no one wanted it. I finally sold it and turned around and bought a PS3. That was the best decision I've ever made. I love my PS3. And no, I'm not a fan boy, I'm a casual gamer (aka - I have a life). And I love my PS3.
