Z tohoto videa se mi udělalo bez nadsázky zle od žaludku a zamarazilo mě po celém tělě - jak někdo napsal níže) byly to ty samé davy, co slibovaly věrnost Třetí říši po smrti Heydricha, tytéž davy masově žádaly smrt pro "zrádce" - Miladu Horákovou či své předáky (Slánského), přísahaly věrnost Stalinovi po jeho smrti (a hrůzách procesů 50. let), poté Gottwaldovi ... a davy z let 68 či 89 jsou jen pokračováním linie (ať přinesly cokoliv), vždy znovu přijdou a budou přísahat ... na cokoliv. :-((

@kaotikdreamer You had no freedom, could not travel, could not criticise the government, if the communists were so good why not ever have a free election, not just in Czechoslovakia but anywhere ; and now only about 5% of your electorate vote for them, they have disappeared. I have sympathy you did not receive the Marshall Aid which America GAVE western Europe, it was offered to Eastern Europe but the Soviets blocked it, the communists put their own power above the needs of the people

@1middlesbrough We couldn't travel because of embargos and the West not letting us in... We could travel anywhere else though. We had direct elections. The Communists are the third largest party... the Social Democrats the largest. People are to the left.

The Marshall Plan enslaved Europe, you still have foreign troops on your soil and your foreign policy is dictated by Washington.

@kaotikdreamer The Marshall Plan was a very generous act and it was offered to everyone with no strings attached, most countries did not even pay the interest back on it. It transformed a shattered Europe, into a modern Europe. We could and can reject any politician or the U.S if we so wish, i remember Czechoslovakia trying to reject the Soviets and were brutally repressed in 1968 and more terrible Hungary 1956. You people fought for decades to rid yourselves from that accursed communism

@1middlesbrough It wasn't generous, the West is still paying for it. Foreign policies, economics, are tied to the US and there are American military bases on their soil. That's occupation, not generosity. Eastern Europe built itself up without the plan. We didn't fight anything, 1956 and 1968 were the first attempts at the type of "colored revolutions" the West has tried now a days and they were put down.The end of socialism were constitutional coups, not popular revolts. CPs are very popula.

We are not occupied, i dont see any NATO, American, British tanks in my back garden because i disagree with American foreign policy, which i do. we can reject our prime Minister and opt out of NATO anytime we want. It is called democracy , can even elect a communist government .
