I really feel like Viscant's team doesn't work as well as some other Phoenix players like F.Champ. I mean yeah, it has Wesker with Tron assist, but even with access to meter should phoenix die, it's still not a great team (actually, that's not true, but it's two characters with not-so-great supers).

Right when you think Viscant is at the level of Justin Wong, ComboFiend or Daigo's of the world due to Dark Phoenix being his one and greatest ace card, ComboFiend shows us it's not what you play, but how you expose those weaknesses in Phoenix/Dark Phoenix. You waste all of your time building meter when patience and good defense can take out your one Ace. Great stuff.

Both these players are waaay better now currently in time. Visacnt took it all at EVO 2011 and Combofiend is just an all around better player currently, I rarely see Combofiend mess up anything but here he messed up a couple times. Both these players are amazing but I more of a combofiend fan and I also consider him a better player and definitely one of the best in the world, only because Viscant uses Phoenix who is extremely easy to use when fiend uses spencer like hes god tier. very original.

Combofiend's the best at this game. His only downfall is that he doesn't compromise his game play- he won't hard tag characters out regardless of how little life they have left, and he's stuck with the same team since forever.

But he innovates so much. It's funny seeing she-hulks and spencers use stuff he originated i.e. the torpedo into launch against him lol

@Daywalker78 I think you cancel the torpedo into another run, and then cancel the run itself with S. After that just mash S so you hit them with the launcher.

@Daywalker78 As soon as you hit slide repeat the dash input (Down Down S) then cancel the stance with another S which makes She-Hulk stand up, after that, follow with another S for the launch. Takes about half a second of execution time.
