If one or two scientist say something, we give them the chance to prove it, and if they do, we in average use the new theory as some kind of fact. Surely not. Apart from that being a 250 million year move of continents, it was the northern part of India that touched Africa, not the eastern part. The governing behavior for the dragonflies largely has to do with flying at altitude, the wind does most of the work. That is not a terribly unusual evolutionary trait in insects. The birds probably followed after.

expand your interests and more of the TED talks will be more entertaining and thought-provoking. thought i must agree that the latest batch of talks has been a little ... meh. still, there are great trinkets of knowledge to be had from what is shared. :)

i know what you meant. i was agreeing with you. but also i think all the ted talks are decent, simply because they can get you thinking about so many different things, but not all of them are of the high quality of, for instance, sir ken robinson's talk on schools and creativity.

so, to basically restate what i said, if your interests are more varied, more varied things will interest you. dig it?
