cool synth, looks ace; I'm just wondering how long did it take you to design the circuitry for it? How complex was it? I'm trying to understand how to make a synth...
@Harald136 I started with a yamaha cso1 (what ever those are worth today) as a base for the design and parts, then add in $50 for the midi micro-controller kit, $150 for sequencer ICs other components and interface pots, and then $15 for the keyboard which came from a used midi controller. Oh and probably $40 in knobs.
Sweet & smooth ear-kissing melody !

Very Cool! Are you making any scratch with these skills? Or do you work part-time at Arbys for the extra cash for your equipment?
Chadzxx1 11 months ago
@Chadzxx1 do you see all of that equipment in the background. LOL an arbys paycheck would not pay for that

I thought this was suppose to be the "cardboard synthesizer".
So Why on earth did you upgrade the cardboard "facade" (whatever that is?) to wood?
MrCamelneck 2 months ago
It looks like the cardboard synth is really half-synth and half-sequencer? Is this correct?
Are you using the Micro-Korg for that cheesy little sine wave lead?
MrCamelneck 2 months ago
Oh...

I would've bought it.

Your scraping it for parts! Blimey, think I'd just keep this forever, its a thing of beauty!
