lol yeah it does it was made by the soviet union in the late 1970's for a replacement of the earlier akm. lol dumb ass oh and the u in ak74u stands for ukorochenniy. =P
@Lyube123 You can shoot your friends with a real one, nor can you participate in fun mil-sim games now can you? Airsoft is a sport, not an attempt to replace real fire-arms.
@Lyube123 Have fun trying to import a real one. Even if you had the money and licenses required to own a select-fire weapon, non-sporterized Russian manufactured firearms can't be imported.
@Thecraftorofthemine HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, you are such a fail troll. $10,000 for an aks74u!? Don't know where you live but you are an idiot. Infact, you can get 74u's for less than airsoft prices. Don't think that I am agreeing with the idiot's who say, "Buy a real one!" as that is obviously retarded. They have completely different uses and you casn use an airsoft much more than a real one.
@Mrscoz03 I have seen a lot of guns in auctions that were only semi-auto and were about $500, But when I see a fully automatic gun it would go up for something like $10,000-$20,000
And I am not saying specifically an ak74u. I am referring to any fully automatic guns that I have seen in my life. I am not an idiot, I am using resources. And usually guns like the ak74u are not cheaper than airsoft versions.
@Thecraftorofthemine YOu get fully automatic m4 variants for 500-1000 dollars. I know you will be able to find the aks74u for less than $10000, especially in Russia. Also, what is this Ak74u that you talk of, I have never heard of such a gun as it has not been made. Ever.
@Thecraftorofthemine There is a Ak74s which is a full length AK74 with a folding stock. The "S" stands for Skladnoy [Folding] and the U stands for Ukorochenniy, [Shortened]. Therefore there is no ak74u as it would be an aks74u but with a full stock, not a folding stock.
If your are going to troll, get your facts right. Idiot.
@Thecraftorofthemine actually, a real ak costs only about 50 on the black market (learned it in socials) thus proving you wrong about the $10,000 price tag.
@UsernameStillPending a non legal ak you mean , what can you do whit a non legal firearm ? and how are you going to get your non legal "50$" ak out of the mountains where that back marked is located into your country ?
@UsernameStillPending He wasn't talking about black market AKs, an AK in Africa cost even less, are we going to go there? A pre-1984 full auto AK cost well up in the range of that, most civilian owned AKs you see around are semi-auto only.
@zzizioziom the way the ejection system works is that it takes the gas from the rounds being fired and it expels it backwards, ejecting the bullet and putting another one up for fire. the smoke is probably the blanks being fired off.
@zzizioziom Its gas blow back, my CO2 powered Beretta PX4 Storm does that too, I guess it adds a more real effect on the gun but im not sure, I just think it looks cool XD
the cool down effect is for the magazines not the gun itself right, so if you want realism and true simulation then this would be the way to go realistically a soldier carrying a weapon like this would only have but so many clips. since clips cost about 40 bucks id go for this over those punkass highcap mags. all i want is a real video review of the weapon... its nice to see the gun in action but i want someone whos had it for a few months to speak on the situation.
no i meant its more of a simulation to a real weapon becuase of the blowback effect but it is not skirmish able due to the cool down effect and that it only holds 50 rounds
I think the GHK sounds better than the WE.
What is your opinion?

S stands for skladnoy, which is Russian and means folding.

In other words this type of weapon is perfect for MIlSim games. I would love to get one of these but I don't have enough cash for one
Minion3425 3 years ago
yep it would be if the manufacturer would put in all steel internals vs that broke ass pot metal people have been talking about.
but regardless of people using high caps and what not id still take this thing into battle i want to be as realistic as possible.
