I for one will be signing up on August 1. Sure, Steve has been getting paid by CBS for the last two years but he has kept his staff in a job, and funded the podcast, on his own dime. I think that's commendable. I also think that a month of entertainment for the price of two venti frappucinos is a good deal. Podcasting is clearly the way of the future. Maybe you shouldn't call someone who's been in broadcasting his whole life "clueless". It's just possible he knows more than you do.
Wow. He is just clueless. Obviously, he didn't do any significant amount of research on this. He's surrounded by "yes" men (and women). His true fans have tried to offer advice, but are told they are either "too cheap" or "stupid" to understand what he's trying to accomplish. Maybe he does need to crash and burn, hit rock bottom, and then he'll come crawling back to commercial radio. Oh well, the show really is stale. Maybe it will be refreshing to take a break from him for a few months....
