he's a jaw-dropping, incredible player. His solo on "Peg" is justifiably legendary... to put that down over what is not an easy progression to solo over is frankly amazing
It is available via Jay Graydon's official website. Youtube does not allow me to add the URL in this response but it is shown in this brief clip anyway - after 1 minute - at the end.
Jay also talks about and demonstrates shapes and scales, fingering, harmonics, the gear he used for the album AIRPLAY FOR THE PLANET and a lot of other stuff.
Graydon is one of my favorite studio and L.A. musician. He's a fine producer also.Where do you get this kind of clip? Is this on DVD? Thanks n keep posting.
You just gotta love his economy of left hand movement. I will certainly buy this. I am a halfway decent guitarist (retired road player), but I bet his stuff will significantly improve my creaky chops.
I showcased all of his guitar rides from the brilliant JARzone "Scene 29" CD on my podcasts (Podcast #10, with Jay's permission, btw) linked off my Santa Fe & The Fat City Horns blog.
The perfect gift this year is the guitar instructional video - Airplay for the Planet - the video which will soon be available at CD BABY. This video, in DVD format, is based upon the VHS Guitar Play For The Planet from 1995 - only released in Japan and out of print since many years. The DVD is released in an extremely limited edition so stay tuned for news on the release date, if you would like to own this very rare item! Here is a brief taste of what is on the video...

@GraydonOlofsson Hi Jay
Any update on Scene 58 (the second version of 29 that'll no doubt be twice as great!)
Best,
