@xactxx This is the original mix, which starts off the UK, but is also included as a bonus track on the US, where the remix of RFTP is the first track. In terms of tracklists, the only real difference between the US and UK Soft Bulletins is that the US has the track "The Spiderbite Song" and the UK has the track "Slow Motion". Both are fantastic songs, so listen to both of them, and decide which version you want based on your preference. I personally prefer the vinyl tracklisting for TSB.
I'm so glad my first exposure to TSB was by unknowingly downloading the UK version (I've since bought the album), that began with the original mix of Race for the Prize. That fucking wonderful drum sound and those hypnotic synths sold me on the Lips' entire discography within seconds.
@demagreg I don't know about that... Do You Realize itself is decent but Yoshimi was a bit overrated... reception for Embryonic, by contrast, seems to have been surprisingly muted beyond the NME, Pitchfork-types, but I think it's their new masterpiece, overtaking The Soft Bulletin. Actually, I think this video could even go actually better aesthetically with something like "Silver Trembling Hands."
the first time i saw this video was back in 99, i caught it at the end. this is my second time seeing it and my first time seeing the whole video... honestly, what would we do without YOUTUBE?!!!

Is this the original mix or the remix? Also, which version of the album is best to buy, the US or the UK version?
