Anybody else find it ironic that most of the snowboarders that ride green groomed slopes wear helmets and then the guys like in the video that are doing the stupidly dangerous stuff (I'm not saying that I don't like the video) don't wear helmets?

@unicyclst yeah, but then again new snowboarders fall a lot more, and groomed runs can be icy so it would hurt like hell to hit your head a lot. I think the pros should wear helmets so if they find an unsuspected spot of rocks, they wont crack their head open.

skumbum - that board is way too small for you - im 5'6" and i ride a 153. if you go with the 150 you wont get very far because of your height/weight displacement.. take stormyrollalife's advice and go to a snowboard size calculator - it really zeros in on the right length you need :)

depending on what you wanna do dude 150 is good if you mainly do park and tricks. longer boards are for if your just cruisin the mountain and they help you go faster
