I don't hate on her for doing this. I think she has good taste in music to chose this awesome song. The lyrics got me through rough times in high school, I felt like snow patrol were singing to me. I like that the song still works today. This version isn't really my style but the lyrics are always beautiful and I hope that they help some kid facing a new painful day find the strength to keep going.

But this is pitiful-why do people want to,and be allowed to "slaughter" and "ruin" an already amazing song! Those who "love it"--listen to the ORIGINAL BY SNOW PATROL--and if Leona's version still sounds good...get ears checked in Emergency A

@Tilley2011 I really don't understand how people can say her singing is emotional, it's rubbish especially in this cover. I like it when covers are different from the original but cutting out half the song in order to wail like that is not being different, it's butchering the song! I can see the emotion in the song but her cover doesn't capture the original emotion in the song all it does is make it horribly hard to listen too.
