i see. i have a 72 pickup that i put a 327 corvette motor in. it has pretty small pipes (i think 2 1/2) but i have flowmasters so it muffles it a bit.
Its got a 273 with a 2 barrel. Nothing much, I eventually either want to get another 273, a 318, or maybe even a 340. Don't want to blow a numbers matching motor.
those must be tiny pipes if they pop that much

They're not that bad, I think it's mostly because I don't have an H or X pipe, just straight back full dual with glasspacks.

I don't even know what seafoaming is.

Seafoam is the name of a product that you pour into your intake, in my case my carburetor, which cleans out all the buildup in your engine.

Oh, I see. Thought it was an act, not so much a product.

I hear yah, I still have the stock 225 /6 in mine, although I'd like the power, I'm still not sure if I want to swap it out to something bigger yet
