I have a big feeling its going to be set in LA. How do I know? let me tell u the hints. 1.) The "V" stands for "Vinewood" in GTA SA, 2.) the "Green" on the V stands for the gang called "Grove Street" and in GTA SA Grove Street main color is Green. And last 3.) The ribon/ scroll behind the word "Five" was also on the cover of GTA SA.

I can GUARANTEE you that it won't be released in January 2012. Nobody releases a game soo soon after announcing it. Especially with a HUGE game like GTA.

@JUNAID187 ok good point, BUT the game was leaked over a year ago and dan houser`s contract with rockstar was going to end january 2012 so obviously they had to finish it quick and now his contract has been extended so since they had to work fast because they didnt know if rockstar was going to extend their contract they`re is a possibility that the game is nearly done

@evilgamers1 Like I said I can guarantee you that there will be atleast a year from now till the game will release. Nobody announces development of a game 3 months before release. Let alone one of the biggest games in history. They will hype it and work on development. Also it will almost certainly include a big online mode so they will release beta's to test the servers and such.

@JUNAID187 umm look at gta 4 the first trailer came out a few months before the official release of the game sure i also doubt it's in January but i pretty sure it's may or close to their since rockstar north has had 2 to 3 years if not maybe 4 to develop the game sure their working on max payne but if you look in the internet there's a few articles saying the north team split in two one team working on vice city stories i think and the other on gta 4

i have seen this release date multiple times and they say they that the GTA team of Rockstar Gameing have been working on it for 2 years now..idk man i thought it was way off too

@tbdpros52 Yeah another reason why it would be 2013 is the fact that Rockstar Games does not usually release two titles in one year. And next year they are releasing Max Payne 3 and that was confirmed by Rockstar Games. And it will be for the current generation.
