  • .... more then 60 fps isnt needed because the human eye can only see about 60 fps -_-

  • Lagging on wow is really sad yo.

  • @Pufftality thinking the whole world has a good rig is rlly retarted yo.... fcking douchebag

  • @PEVatos You don't need a good rig to run wow without lag, funny.

  • @Pufftality u dont seem to get the point

  • Is there a way to reverse this?

  • I wish this game properly supported quad core processors.

My i5 2500k still gets raped in Orgrimmar, but core 0, 1, and 3 are sitting there pretty much idly, whereas core 2 is pushing 90% use.

  • thanks a shit ton

  • man nevermaynd its working

  • when l try to log on my hero it shows error

  • MAN WHEN L DID that on my wow l get error xD

????? CAN YOU TELL ME WHY??

  • Step 1 = Buy a new graphics card. Step 2 = There is no step 2.

  • I need to get higher than 10

  • @TheWUBA lol me to

  • @MrCoffeedrinker1000 change your screen resolution I did and im like at 20 now

  • Really? everyone knows how to remove vs

  • I always was turning off the Vertical sync and was getting around 100 fps+

  • I can help you with this :P Buy a good PC... lol xD i run like 250+ FPS On Wow with EVERYTHING on ultra...

  • @GamingForYou1337GFY what PC do u have ?

  • i had 61 FPS once :P

  • PLZ HELP!!! i dont have the video thing at the start menu. reply quick plz!

  • lol

  • i get 60 fps! thanks to my "AMD cpu 3.20ghz x4 and my AMD radeon 6750" its a champ.

  • Where do you actually type that stuff into?

  • The price you pay for a Alienware pc is just to high... for the same price you can build a waay better desktop... It's the name you pay for not the quality =P

  • On my dads Alienware PC he gets 74 average FPS on the computer im on right now is basically a every day computer its a Windows Vista, emachines. I get 7 FPS lol. Im gonna try this method later on and if it doesnt work ill stick the the alienware. Thanks.

  • lol "be careful I heard this can cause screen tearing" do you even know what that is? obviously not.

  • everyone who is ragin comments on this video likes dick up the ass

  • If you just pour a little water on your computer it'll increase FPS instantly. Forget these "new-age" mumbo jumbo solutions.

  • You night only be able to see 20-30 dps with the eye, cant remember, but you can feel the difference, like 30 and 120 fps in a shooting game wil make quite some difference

  • thanks dude its very helped my.i was geting lag then looking strait.grapicks on lowest.but still.no i no laging at all.btw my pc is hp compaq mini:D

  • Fucking noobs saying the eyes only see 30 fps. What a bullshit, search for the site 100fps, this site has GOOD information about this lie. And go above of 60 fps doesn't matter if the refresh rate of your display doesn't go above 60.

Movies has motion blur, because of that your low fps doesn't look so crap. Sry for my english, I'm not american.

For god sake, do some research about the information you all put here.

  • I had an alienware laptop, no need for me to do this, I have it on ultra, and even in citys it runs UNBELIEVEBLY fast, it's amazing :D

  • @WOWvmaker Usually you dont say u have an alienware pc.

  • @WorldOfWideo plz help!! my computer has an i5 processor at 2.8ghz, 4gb of ram, and i have a geforce310m graphics card....WTF!!!! MY COMP SPECS ARE WAY OVER THE MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS!!!! BLIZZARD LIES!! HELP ME WITH MY LAG!!

  • @Zanderxy i5 is just a 2core processor I believe, u gcard tells me ur also using a laptop, Theres something with laptops that make me feel like every game feels sucky, but Idk, dont put ur setting too high, ur gcard prolly not very good

  • @WorldOfWideo yeh i figured it out, my processor is a beast...i just need to upgrade my graphics card :(

  • @WorldOfWideo i5 is quadcore...........

  • @WorldOfWideo i5 is a 4-core processor

  • @WorldOfWideo i5 is actually a 4 core dumbass

  • @Zanderxy you installed directx ????

  • @Zanderxy try updating your video card drivers, I have c2d 2.2ghz, gt240m and 4gb ram.. and I run it at more than 60 fps always, on maximum settings ;]

  • @Zanderxy Blizzard didn't lie about anything. Where on the 'recommended system specs" does it says "play in the city in peak times and get no lag"? Or where does it say "Max the graphics and get no lag input"?

Update your stuff, that's a 310M meaning MOBILE, if you're raiding with that or going into a city...good luck. Time for an upgrade buddy.

  • @Zanderxy You're totally wrong. My pc specs are a bit lower then yours and im trying everything to look wow more impresive. Youre computer would run wow easy.

  • @WorldOfWideo still have 6 fps

  • @dragensrul try putting all your graphics on low but the resolution as high as possible, it still looks okay

  • @WOWvmaker Alienwares are pieces of shit. You could get a much better ASUS laptop for like half the price

  • @WOWvmaker If you have no need to do this why do you watch this video then. Go chant about your "awesome" laptop somewhere else.

  • @WOWvmaker this video is to brag about ur specs idiot. no one cares

  • @WOWvmaker you're bad

  • @WOWvmaker gaming on a LAPTOP = LuLz

  • @WOWvmaker ..And you got ripped off for a PC name that is owned by the infamous craptacular Dell. Build your own and save 3-grand next time. Noob.

  • @WOWvmaker why do you watch this if u have a alienware ?? :O

  • Real life images the eye catches about 30 fps. Video games/ screens it can go higher then 60.

  • Vagina

  • no the humen i can catch only 30 fps

  • Man u guys are lucky I have like 12 fps all time how Dino fix it?

  • DONT DO IT, SO POINTLESS

Human eyes can only see 60 FPS so their is no point, if anything make ur video quality better than this load of crap

  • it made my fps worse O_o

  • i do this but it increases with 2fps.. -.- and i have a laptop which sucks, and i always have bout' 11-26fps all the time >_>

  • you're making a comparison. Using the word "then" in that context is not correct. You should be using "than"

  • @d12umk1ng Grammar Nazi

  • no point going over 60 like everyone is saying, just remember to put on triple buffering if you have vsync on, and just a little reminder that turning vsync of would really only be useful on an expensive hd tv thats designed for sports as theyre normally 200hz opposed to the 60 that most tvs/monitors run at and that youll get screen tearing if you run it higher than 60hz on a 60hz monitor and that can fuck up alot of screenshots

  • Playing above 60 FPS is only really necessary when video editing the gamplay. Other then that if you just play wow i would say 40-50 FPS is a good amount to play on any higher you will not be able to notice a difference.

  • erm, unless you have a 3d screen your screen is capped at 60 fps. Meaning that you will be making your gfx card work harder, but your screen wont be able to show it. So basically having your fps above 60 is just a waste of your computers energy

  • thanks alot bro really helped

  • I get about 85FPS and max about 117 with a HP s5660f Bedor this new pc I got between 10-30 fps so thanks for the tips.

  • wow has poor graphics? lol, graphics rnt meant to be REALISTIC, they r meant to be like "world's of warcraft". if u dont think so, its good to Millions of ppl around the world, unlike any other mmorpg game. anyways Blizz doesnt take care of shit. they made this game like a fairy tale, and made the most interesting & addicting gameplay. The rest of mmo's might have "better graphics" but they dont even go close to wow's gameplay.

  • to sum up i would like to say that wow sux... and i did not get the point of this video... please tell me WHO DOES NOT GET 60 FPS ON THAT LOL OLDSCHOOL CRAP?

  • @piniginis why are you watching a video about wow if you don't like it....seems strange to me.

  • Yes, there is no difference from 60 FPS to 100 FPS. The human eye can only capture 60 FPS, so have anything more than that is absolutely pointless, UNLESS you have some fucking robot eyes.

  • @CastanedaDude FPS would also tell you how smooth the game run. High FPS can tell you that your prossecor and Video card are not working too hard therefor recording video game with a good frame rate for playability and visibility when watching the video on youtube. my option give you a good FPS for that matter

  • @CastanedaDude

That is false. There probably is a limit to to the fps the human eye can notice up to but it is not 60.

When im playing counterstrike i can tell, after just 5 seconds of play, that the fps is capped at 75. After removing the cap from options, it goes to 99 and it is CLEARLY noticeable.

The fact that humans cant comprehend more than 60 is an old and biased myth.

  • @CastanedaDude Pretty sure it's actually less, (arround 30 i think) but you're right, going well over 60 fps is a total waste.

  • @CastanedaDude A human eye can see a lot more than 60 fps, have you ever seen a game that runs 200 fps on a 200Hz screen? i see the difference between 60 then, so that is not true.

  • @CastanedaDude You realize you're a fucking moron right? Are you trying to tell me that if I'm playing on a 120hz monitor getting 100fps and it drops to 65fps I won't notice?

  • @CastanedaDude that is absolutely not true the human eye can capture a lot more then 60fps.

  • @CastanedaDude 69 is the most

  • @CastanedaDude Actually you can't notice any higher than thirty.

  • @CastanedaDude the 24 fps not 60.

  • @CastanedaDude the human eye doesnt detect much higher than 100hz. the only reason we dont notice is because our monitors usually display @ 60Hz therefore increasing the framerate over that is redundant. our television set at home has a refresh rate of 100Hz and trust me, you can tell the difference between 60 and 100Hz. argue all you like, i know im right because i have an educated opinion and you dont.

  • @n00baTr00pa

Television doesn't suffer from the same drop in FPS that a PC does during high output sequences.

High frame rates (above 100) do have practical bearing in some cases. A certain amount of discarded “headroom” frames are beneficial for the elimination of uneven output, and to prevent FPS from plummeting during intense sequences when players need smooth feedback most. Don't believe my post, go Wiki it.

  • @platty26 You're arguing against me but you have the same opinion.....wtf Lol... You didn't even argue it correctly, what you mean't to say is: Rendering >100 fps means that your graphics hardware isn't under any stress and having this headroom is needed if you wish to maintain smooth gameplay under graphically intense scenarios i.e. A sudden spike in the amount of particles/ polygons rendered; Also, using a monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate when constantly >120 fps is ALOT smoother than a 60Hz.

  • @n00baTr00pa explain to me, why you so easy can the quality difference between 100Hz and 200Hz. Or 200Hz and 400Hz. If its purely the Hz which sets them apart(assuming its made by the same company)

  • @CastanedaDude Human eye can only see 30 fps..

They even put movies that you see at a movie theater at 30 fps.

  • @CastanedaDude What a BULLSHIT you're saying. Get a fucking CRT display with 85 hz and put 85 fps, if you don't notice the difference your eyes are fucked. Most of LCD displays doesn't go above 60HZ, because of that you're stucked with 60 REAL FPS. Your video card can count 1000 fps, but if your display can't refresh 1000x per second you will see only 60 fucking frames per second. So, doesn't say bullshits, do some research noob.

  • @daniloberserk dude calm down no need to be a dick to guy who is trying to help

  • @assasins943 I'm talking from the guys commenting here. Fake information doesn't help...

  • @CastanedaDude

Doesn't matter how many frames the eye can capture.

Set up 2 monitors side by side, one running 60 fps and one running 200 fps, and tell me you cant see a difference. My laptop gets 60 fps consistently, my desktop gets 120-150 , i can EASILY, very easily, notice a difference in the smoothness of the game when switching from the laptop to the desktop.

  • @CastanedaDude wrong.. the eye can capture 24 fps. Movies in cinemas and dvd's have 25-27 fps

  • @IchBinFedda partially correct. the human eye see the picture moving fluently abouve 24fps. but can sense higher fps too

  • @CastanedaDude research about motion flow and 200Hz monitors and tvs . . . .

  • @CastanedaDude Human eye can be tricked at around 30 FPS not 60

  • @CastanedaDude but the problem with this is that the computer screen fps and human eye fps capturing dont sync together.

  • its funny because world of warcrafts graphics suck ass either way you put it, Blizzard is gay for having so much money yet having such poor graphical quality

  • @MrArbiter2112 Actually, I think they did a good job witht the new graphics in cataclysm

  • @WorldOfWideo yeah they did lolz

  • @MrArbiter2112 uh, dude u totally got it backwards, since the new expansion they raised theyre graphics by alot, if you think im lieing then fucking go in the game and change your video settings dumbshit.

  • @MrArbiter2112 dude i dont think you understand, they can make better graphics than black ops but if they did no1 could have played this game RETARD

  • @MrArbiter2112 ur pretty retarded rlly they would also lose lots of people with older computers

  • @DRSteveo44 yes...well...it's called innovation dumbshit

  • @MrArbiter2112 The graphics for wow isn't that bad considering wow is easy as fuck to run and the game is pretty old.

  • @MrArbiter2112 I laugh at the commercial and "how-to-profit" ignorance of this comment.

  • @MrArbiter2112 Yep, they made it hell lot better with cataclysm. And tbh its hard to say that graphics are not that bad at all. it's just cartooney and would never look realistic, if that is what your after. Besides upping your FPS means that you have to lower your details (depends on computer ofc)) which idd makes the graphics not as good as it is.

  • @MrArbiter2112 ok then, YOU try and make a game thats got a world which is SOOO big and has 2000 players per server that runs properly with mega graphics. ( message me when you are screaming "OMFG HOW THE FUCK DID BLIZZ DO THAT!?!?!?!?!?")

  • @jordannw2010 more like 20000 atleast

  • when i first got my comp i got wow it ran smoothly no lag and i had a framerate of 50-60 but like a month after having wow it started to lag and i dunno why plaz help D:

  • How the hell is this gonna work on a fail comp like mine?

  • all this does is as soon as you type that in, it will show the max fps your computer can run at, over 35 fps, the game looks the same at 36 fps to 75 fps, my maxfps is set to 40 to reduce the load on my graphics card and reduces heat generated inside my computer greatly, so if you get above 60 fps often set to maxfps 40 or so...

  • aww i got 3 fps fail :(

  • actually most monitors only run at 60hz, so if thats the case u likely wont notice a difference, alot of people get this confused because i believe its around 29.5fps we can "render" clearly, however there are test showing humans can detect motion at up to 290fps which is why most people do notice a difference when upgrading to a 120hz monitor, our brain also can take say 24 clear fps like in a standard movie and give us the illusion its fluent.

  • or u can just get a decent computer :D

  • thanks your vid helped a lot and all you guys saying no one can't see higher than 27 fps your fucking retarded

  • What's the point.. Most screens only supports 60fps anyways, and if they support more, the option will be available in WoW as well..

This will only make your graphic-card render more frames than necessarily, making it go hotter, and "hot hardware = broken hardware"(over time..)

  • 5850, but close enough.

  • @mreith80 Nice

  • Your eyes aren't trained to see above 60fps, they will start to tear if they do, and thus, making you blind, or have severe eye problems, fortunately, no matter how long you play at above 60fps, you're eyes never get that trained to see that high.

  • @halflifefan84 true guys

  • @halflifefan84 that doesn't even make sense dipshit

  • @Erichx1997 It doesn't to you because you're a retarded 12 year old, but don't worry, you're not the only squeaker who's dumb for his age. Maybe you can suck on your moms tit after you get done crying from this reply.

  • @halflifefan84 i like how you call me retarded and telling me im 12 and to go suck my mom's tit and yet your the retarded one for not giving any solution to what i said to contradict what i said

  • can some1 help me on this when i disable verticle sync my fps go to around 50-60 for a while but then after like an hour it goes down to 2-12fps for 10 minutes and then returns to 50-60 but when i keepverticle sync on my fps remains at a constant 19-29 fps

  • @supergyl All I can say is, make sure you're not tying up any other cores your processor might have.

  • neither macro does shit...

  • @SharamanONorgannon they might be out dated, its an old version of wow

  • it works great ty

  • lol i got 600fps

  • @mreith80 I bet you have a 5970 XD

  • So where do we see what our FPS is? I type the line in, but don't see anything

  • @SkylineLvr82 I think u can do ctrl + r or u can mouse over the computer with a green, yellow or red screen and it should tell u. u can also use fraps , their free trial let u see ur fps in realtime. hope it helped

  • do u write it in the macro or say?

  • yess, now on 9, up from 7 ;D

  • Great now whenever i run and let go of the W button, He keeps moving forward and then at on point finally stops do you know why?

  • @RomesFinalArcher The same thing is with me.. :( please tell me if u get any help

  • @ruop7 now i just use the right and left button on the mouse and he will move

  • The vid helped! thanks alot!

  • well it work for lowest grafik settnings AND ONLY ON LOWEST

  • does it really makes a difference between 60 FPS or 100FPS?! .... i was told that once you go above 60 FPS, you wont be able to tell the difference anymore... ><.. just a thought..

  • @QDBYZ i do see a difference but having a really high framerate is important for anyone who makes videos and has slowmotion effects.

eg. if you usually get 60fps and then in a video stretch 1 second into 2 seconds, the frames will go down to 30fps D=

  • @QDBYZ ur eyes actually can only see round 30 fps in cod4 when u scope in whith a sniper you can kinda see the difference between 60-100 fps or atleast i somehow can xD

  • @EXSQUADEX your eyes can only see 60fps.

  • @QDBYZ its because your monitor only supports framerates up to 60fps!

  • @QDBYZ The human eye cannot detect over 27 fps. Anything higher than that is merely a buffer for higher graphics options.

  • @MilkNoob lol, i can.

  • @QDBYZ well, you cant see more than 60 fps xD

  • @QDBYZ depends what hertz your screen run at.

  • @QDBYZ even worse, if you go higher than 60FPS some monitors (including my LG piece of crap) even show lag. always have vertical sync on kids.

  • @QDBYZ yeah but when you go into really crowded areas it goes down so if you have 100 and it goes down by 40 you'll have 60 but if you have 60 and it goes down 40 you'll have 20 see the difference?

  • working gr8 thanks :)

  • thanks i now got 240-300 fps :P !

  • I don't understand. :(

  • Works perfectly! now i have 130 FPS :D tnx alot :D

  • lame my fps just went down thanks alot

  • @crazybastard99 mhhhhh it starting to go up ty:D

  • Sweet! Able to get about 95 FPS on high settings, and about 300 on low. GeForce 9800 GT :D Thanks for this video.

  • If this works i will shit my pants

  • Or you could buy a new computer. That's always a possibility.

And don't go half assed when getting a new computer. I got a 2010 Dell Gaming Computer, I play max resolution max graphics at 60fps even when Dal is packed. I love it. Really, either get a perfect computer or don't get one at all, cause if you spend a lousy $400 on one you'll regret it.

  • You shouldn't do this, theres really no reason.

Just enable vertical sinc and don't worry about your FPS numbers, you will notice 0 difference between 60 and 200fps.

  • lol can you decrease the upper latency limit too?

  • what is screen tearing? 0.o

  • Why would you want more than 60fps!?!? After 60fps you probaly can't even tell the difference. Halo 3 is locked at 30 fps. And the first 3D video game has 6fps.

  • mine did nothing can i get some help?

  • mine went from 60 to 90

  • well that did nothing...

  • my LAPTOP fucking blows dick, i have everything at the worst (lowest settings) and the highest it gets 27

  • Where Do we write the stuff macros or type it

  • @NaRuToCrUsHeR u just type it as if u were saying something in chat with /console before of course

  • Nice bro Ty

  • bro I get like 115FPS in dalaran

  • Is this a joke? The playstation one would get 60fps in WOW.

  • I went to the worst resolution and effekts and i had 469 fps :P At ultra i had about 100..

  • I tried this and my fps stayed the same, any tips?

  • i did this and my comp monitor grew arms and ripped itself in half is this normal?
