If you make the surrounding loops tighter around the boutique bow, will it lay almost flat, or would you not recommend doing that? Would it be better to just attach the ribbon to the boutique bow beforehand to get this effect?

You make beautiful bows and I have learned so much. May I ask what kind of glue gun you use because I burn myself with mine. It seems to get too hot. I could never touch the ribbon after putting a dot of glue on.
