well the 85 ft that is the current minimum will most likely be raised after the season and then they will have to raise it up. its just havent been a factor until this happened

The 90 foot height is 5 feet higher than what the nfl required.

Needed to be adjusted to fit the U2 360 gig in, during October. Full height of the U2 "claw" stage aprox.164ft, height to the underside of the scoreboard aprox.90ft. Apparently it's also in danger of high flying punts. Classic piece of design. At least they are getting something done about it before the regular season.

The roof is retractable.  They can open it and close it when the weather permits.

it's indoor, AND outdoor...haha, there's a hole in the roof (showing patronage to the old Texas Stadium) but unlike the old roof, this one is retractable as well, so it can be indoors too during bad weather
