  • Great!

  • what an awesome guitarist!

  • I saw them play under the name "The Kim Simmonds Band" in a tiny venue in Ottawa back in the day. They were great but loud & I was deaf for four hours after.

  • simmonds sounds much different then the late 60's. he is much more polished than he used to be.he is one of my favorite guitarists.

  • i agree as the great blues players get older theyplay more smooth, another one is buddy guy

  • Absolutely great. Full of energy, feeling, dynamics, and soul. Right on! What tone, the ultimate ear candy.

  • Its not loud enough when you hear patrons talking.Simmons is spot on here

  • rite up there w/RORY GALLAGHER!

  • This is a super great lineup here with David on 2nd guitar! But Kim is back to a trio as of right now!

  • Lot's of great guitar work by Kim - since Getting to the Point LP in '68,Blue Matter, A Step Further, & Raw Sienna all in '69, & Looking In 1970 - my favorite Savoy Brown LP's. '94's Bring it Home another favorie. Keep rockin, Kim!

  • One of the best guitarists ever. Definately in the top 10!

  • Your damn straight : so much for Rolling Stone and Guitar Players bullshit top 100 greatest polls huh!!

  • Oh yeah! Probably number 1 on the list of most UNDERATED and NEGLECTED blues guitar players!

He still sounds as good now as he did back in his early days, maybe better!

  • Hes technically much better now : it comes with age as long as the dexterity is still there. Too bad guys like Kim go largely unheralded except in the inner circle of players or true conosiours of music.
