The fact that it took 45 minutes for police and emergency personel to respond demonstrates one of the key reasons why Gun Control is such a failure. Criminals are far more afraid of potentially armed victims than they are with the frequently absent police. If someone kicks in my door, I'd much rather have a gun than a phone.
