  • I *absolutely love* that you wrote "DIAGRAM" at the top of your diagram. It made me very happy. Thanks for the video.

  • 5:31, your clothes done drying !

also, i would love to see another demp with more effects in the effects loop. reverb?

  • 3:21 reminds me of playing super mario bros in the ghost castles...

  • So so awesome. Sweet combo.

  • Less playing, more diagrams, that was the best moment of the video.

  • great demo and nice diagram

  • This is freaking awesome, man

  • Do you think you can do the same with the stereo memory man with hazarai?

  • @jochiasson the hazarai hasn't got an FX loop. You could go from input 1 > output 1 > hog > input 2 > output 2

    but that's gonna be messed up. I don't think your original sound is going to make it out of there, everything's just gonna be changed into what ever the hog's doing, as such;

guitar in, input 1> output 1 - here's a regular delay coming out of what you put in > HOG > now everything coming out of output 2 has changed into whatever the HOG did > input 2 > output 2 > everything delayed

  • 2:35 Beautiful

  • very post-rock. I love it. I'm gonna get a DMB as soon as I have the cash, lol.

  • killer demo.

  • Very cool sounds. Is the effect in the loop audible if the DMB switched off. In other words with this setup can you use the HOG independently of the DMB?

  • Nice and glitchy. I loved my HOG - I had to sell it though. What a strange explanation for pitch shifting.

  • This is one of my favorite things to do with the DMB, and it's great to see that someone's made a video about it. Sweet!

  • sounds awesome. . . I have a HOG but this makes me want a DMB

  • nice! awesome effect. i did the same thing using guitar rig 3, but digital effects are honetsly pretty crap. great demo! ive always been wondering, does the memory boy go into self oscillation well? it seems like a really good delay pedal, i was just wondering if i could have some fun with it as well :D

  • @rawrnoobs Thanks for the kind words. The deluxe memory boy goes into oscillation very easily, actually. I find it's more difficult with the regular Memory Boy, though. You can do some neat things by getting the Deluxe to oscillate and putting it into delay time sequence mode.

  • Awesome setup, I just recently got the Hog. I'd love to know how you set it up with the DMB.

  • i like it, but can the repeats get louder than that?

  • Yeah they can. I only have the blend up around halfway.

  • great demo! ha, loved the diagram. nice work.
